Excellent packaging! Arrived sealed and in perfect condition. Installed as detailed in directions. Took 30min with a Beer break :) If you mount near the edge of the bumper, the sewer hose still fits as the screws stick up in the gaps around the hose. Just watch the length of screws. Recommend you remove the hose during installation and place hose back in after.

Simple but effective. We wanted something that was lighter and we could mount to our class C motorhome. The heavy rubber style are great but I wanted something that did not add much to the total vehicle weight since our rear axle cargo is heavy and something we could easily remove. We have a steel tube bumper and this was easy to either screw in, or in our case , drill and mount magnets to the aluminum channel they provide. Then we attached the magnets to the bumper. We used 1” diameter magnets rated at 80# each. So far they stay in place. We only use the screen when we are towing so this was our attachment choice. Trimming took more time than mounting.

I used this product on my motorhome. I mounted the unit on the back bumper. It had easy to follow instructions and it wasn't too labor intensive. I had to shorten the length to 20" otherwise it would drag on the ground. Used heavy duty scissors which worked well. I tow a vehicle behind my motorhome often and being a brush design rather than a hard mat, it is no problem still making all the connections. Highly recommend.

Will be flat towing a 68 C10 behind a class "c" to NC this summer and want to protect the front of the truck from dirt, rocks, debris etc. Was told that the "brush type" was what I should use. Not many options on Amazon however this one seemed to be what would work. The packaging was intact (unlike some reviews I read). Two of the plastic or nylon material brush pieces have fallen out during handling. Am in process with the installation as this motor home had the steel "bumper and jackscrew stabilizers inside it and I am welding a 1 1/2 X 1 1/2 inch by 1/8 steel angle 8' long on to it and will then screw the aluminum channel to it. The distance to the ground will be about 2 inches from the bottom of the brushes. The brushes will cover the entire rear and hopefully not interfere with the tow bar or any of the chain or electric wire.

Received the splash guard but will not install before the summer. No rush. Looks good and fast delivery. I will probably stop the rocks from scratching my car bumper.

Went on easy. I modified the sweep to fit on a 2x4, then attached it to the frame using 2 U clamps so that I have 1 continuous sweep. I also ordered the 22" which I figured would be a few inches to long. I was correct but now there's no small space for rocks and debris to sneak by. Eventually the sweep will wear to the perfect length. Also I love to say package came in pristine condition and was inside a big box. Don't understand the reviews that say box came damaged. Mine was ordered from Amazon and came in a Amazon box. The product was in the manufacturer box. Well done and great product !!

When I purchased these—didn’t realize our RV doesn’t have a rear bumper to mount these to. So clever hubby mounted them underneath the RV on the frame closer to the tires. It took some time (30 mins including assessment) plus screws and a drill. It worked out for our RV. I suggest checking out your RV options in regards to available installment area (bumper type or non-bumper) plus measurements so you don’t end up with an unnecessary and inconvenient return. Seller must have taken advice of other buyers who complained about receiving item in damaged condition and poor packaging because mine arrived protected and thoroughly wrapped in a sealed blue plastic. This purchase worked out perfectly for us and our rig.

I haven't used it yet. It was delivered three days after the indicated delivery date. When it finally arrived I needed it the next morning and didn't have time to install it. So, I made a temporary splash guard out of a piece of left over carpet pad. It worked so well I almost sent this one back. I decided to keep it, but I didn't like the recommended installation as it would have eliminated the storing of my sewer hose in the rear bumper and it would also have been in the way of my hitch mechanisms. I built a mounting bracket for it and bolted it to the frame of my RV about 18 inches ahead of the rear bumper. That setup is out of the way of the hitch and the sewer hose storage. I thought about making a you tube video of the installation, but there's already a very good one available. The configuration I have it in now appears to be quite functionable and looks good. One of the reviews I read states that the guard's bristles raised up to an unacceptable height from the wind while the RV was under way. I will check this out when I finally get to take it on the road. If I think it's too flexible, I will weld a couple of loops made from rebar to the bracket I constructed and place them 6" to 8" down to press against the bristles. That should stiffen it up so the bristles stay closer to the pavement.

The advertisement for this is really confusing as it shows 11 feet and 22 feet products when it is really inches deep and standard 8 feet long. Once I got through that with the supplier, I ordered it and it arrived quickly. The instructions were easy to follow, the installation took about 30-45 minutes and they work and look great.Good product, good delivery, easy install and good price.

I’m giving this 3 stars because as others have said, the package comes half destroyed! All the hardware bolts were missing and both the brushes and the aluminum mounting channel all bent! Piss poor packaging! I contacted Amazon I did not get a response so I was left to straighten everything out as best as I could because I need them for an upcoming trip in a week. So I made a trip to HD for SS screws and some aluminum angle iron to help install these. I attached them about 18-20” behind the rear axel because I didn’t like the look of them off the rear bumper.Having said all of that they should do the trick, and they are a good price compared to the rubber type, I just wish the manufacturer would read these reviews and do a better job in packaging!7-3-2020 updateI did a 4 day trip about 1,200 miles. They seem to hold up and protected my toad car so far. I would recommend them.

Good product but needed a lot of mods to fit behind truck. Bristles on brush seems to be made of heavy material, which should last a long time
