These non-OEM brake hoods are unbranded and a close copy for the Shimano 105 R7000 hoods with the bumps and internal structure in the right place for straightforward fitting.The silicone rubber has the palm face chequered pattern of the originals, but the material itself is different. Glossier and slightly flimsier, where the originals have a matt finish and are slightly thicker, these are not as comfortable to hold and offer less of a cushion when riding.I wouldn’t choose these over the widely available Shimano branded originals, especially when there is no price advantage. There is no supporting literature in the pack and references to Shimano in the listing have been written as ‘S-himano’ which doesn’t inspire confidence.

These are ok, but are not as good at the official versions, which you can get for about twice the price.The rubber is relatively thin, yet stiff and the surface is shiny, with very little contour on the top surface
