This seems to be a very well constructed pool cue. Fit and finish is very nice with no blemishes or defects. Attaches securely together and doesn’t come loose during use. Both pieces are perfectly straight, and the pool cue is still straight when connected together. Certainly an upgrade to the ones I had been using that came with the pre-owned pool table purchased years ago.Attractive pool cue, well made, perfectly straight and plays well. I am more than pleased with this Big Cat pool cue.

For a novice to owning my own pool sticks, this thing isn't bad. It is straight, well balanced, built with good tolerances, and pretty to look at. It's comfortable to play with, and easy to separate the halves for storage. My only real gripe is that it arrived slightly dirty in only a clear plastic sleeve inside an ill-fitting box. I could easily see this getting damaged or punching through the box and getting lost in transit. All in all though, it is not the worst first pool stick though, and it is fairly priced.

If you’re looking for a pool cue stick that feels as good as it looks, this is it!. Assembled, it measures 58.5 inches, giving it that ideal length for both casual games and more serious play. The weight is solid and balanced, giving you a comfortable, controlled feel in your hands. The two-piece design screws together smoothly and stays tight — no annoying wiggle or loosening after a few shots. Once assembled, it feels like a single solid stick, which is exactly what you want in a quality cue. The shaft is where this stick really shines. The wood grain has that rich, real maple look with intricate detailing that gives it an elegant touch. It definitely has the appearance of a higher-end cue without the hefty price tag.Performance-wise, the stick is straight and true, with no noticeable warp or bend. Whether I was lining up a finesse shot or going for a powerful break, the cue delivered consistent, reliable performance. The tip holds chalk well and offers a good amount of control over the ball, making it easy to put spin and finesse into your shots. If you’re in the market for a dependable, well-crafted cue that combines aesthetics and performance, this one is a winner. It’s perfect for anyone who wants to up their game while adding a touch of style to their cue collection.

This cue works very well. It has a nice smooth stroke and a very good balance. The weight is well placed and it's nice and light for delicate shots. The tip is alright, no issues. It's kind of pricy to have the issues it does, but also not nearly as pricy as some others so there's some give and take when getting a cheaper cue. The imperfections are only noticeable when put on a cue straightness checker. Spinning on the bearings reveals some very minor but noticeable imperfections. It's got a bit of a wobble and straightness issue around the tip. Not much and most probably wouldn't notice it rolling it on a table but on the roller, nothing lies and nothing hides. So, with that in mind, if you don't mind a very tight but still present margin of error this is a very nice cue. If you need perfection you need to likely spend more because this is (while up there compared to some) a pretty cheap cue in the scope of things. No major complaints the imperfections are not noticeable in hand when playing but will likely become more noticeable with time.

For context, I’m not a serious pool player—I just wanted a nice cue for when my sister and I play. She is a big pool player, and I thought having a quality stick around would make her feel more at home. She told me this is right up there with the nicest cues she owns, and I have to agree—it’s definitely the best I’ve ever used. It feels high-quality, looks great, and is perfectly straight and sturdy.Great stick!

This review is for the "Big Cat Timeless Legacy Pool Cue Stick - Grade A Canadian Maple, 12.5mm Professional Leather Tip, 58” Length, Premium Billiard Cue for Adults – Home or Tournament Play - 18oz, Gray Silver" that I ordered via the Vine program.I have a pool table at home and like to keep a few decent quality, inexpensive pool cues in my rack for use by my non-pool playing friends during parties or for my grandkids to use. This cue looked well made in the online listing and I was not at all disappointed once I had it in hand. At this price range I'm looking for the basics: a decent finish, proper weight, and no warpage. This cue delivered on all of these. This cue was extremely straight with only the slightest vibration at the tip when rolled in my cue testers, so no noticeable warpage at all. Both the shaft and butt are nicely finished and very smooth and I could find no noticeable blemishes on either. The cue measured 58" from tip to butt cap and weighed in at 18oz exactly as listed. The tip measured 11.8mm using my digital calipers even though it was listed as 12.5mm. I prefer a narrower tip, so this was actually a plus for me. The joint was a bit loose throughout the threads and only tightened up once fully seated against the butt. The balance point was about 1.5-2in ahead of the wrap section although the cue was not wrapped. No joint protectors were included.I played a several racks with this cue and was impressed by the quality of the hit which is partly due to the tightness of the joint once fully assembled. The tip seemed to be a standard medium and I was able to get decent ball control with it.I will note that unlike many inexpensive cues I've ordered, the tip arrived properly shaped to a nickel diameter radius and required minimal work to get it ready for playing. The overall finish of the cue was fantastic! It was smooth along the entire length of the cue, and the shaft had a very silky touch overall. There was no sign of roughness or improperly finished areas. There were a few spots in the finish where the stain was a bit light, but the clear coating was smooth, and the light areas will not affect feel or playability. For the asking price this is a fine quality cue. I like the aesthetics of the wrap-less butt and the point design. It's worth noting that these are decals and not actual inlays, but the finish over them is solid and I expect it to last for a good long while if maintained. I wouldn't hesitate to get another of these as a house cue in the future.
