Dumpster Dice is a fast-paced, quick-to-learn game that brings a delightful sense of chaos to the table. Its appeal lies in its simple yet engaging mechanics, making it an ideal choice for casual gatherings, family game nights, or just as a fun filler in between more complex games.Components:The dice themselves are colorful and sturdy, with clear, readable faces. The accompanying rulebook is concise, ensuring players can jump into the action almost immediately. The box is compact, so it's easy to store or transport if you want to take it to a friend's house or on vacation.Fun Factor:What stands out most is the sheer fun and unpredictability of the game. The randomness of the dice rolls keeps everyone on their toes, and it’s hard not to laugh as players try to piece together various dice combinations under pressure. I also love that there are more mode variants to play in the game. If you liked Trash Dice, you will love Dumpster Dice!Replayability:While the rules don’t change much from game to game, the randomness of the dice ensures that each session feels fresh. The luck of the roll keeps the game exciting every time, and since it’s quick, you can easily play multiple rounds without getting bored.Final Thoughts:Dumpster Dice is a great game if you’re looking for something fast, fun, and a little bit crazy. It’s not the most strategic or complex game out there, but its lighthearted nature and quick gameplay make it a great choice for casual players or those who just want a fun diversion. If you're in the mood for a frantic, dice-rolling experience, Dumpster Dice is definitely worth checking out.

We are a big gaming family and I am a sucker for games with lots of dice so Big Discoveries Dumpster Dice was a no brainer. The game comes in a VERY cool plastic dumpster. The dumpster acts as both the box and the game board, which is pretty cool. Inside there are four sets of different colored dice, instruction manual and a sheet of stickers. The stickers are both to make the numbers on the lid more visible as well as to "vandalize" the dumpster to your liking. The dice colors are a bit of a disappointment as they are an odd color choice and very muted. They roll nicely and are comfortable in the hand with rounded edges. The manual is a quick read and is very clear on how to play. First you remove the lid from the dumpster and turn it over. Inside you will see the six dice spaces numbered 1-6. Players take turns rolling a single die and placing it into the empty slot with that number. If the number has already been placed, the duplicate die is tossed into the dumpster. Play continues until all six numbers are filled and the player who placed the last die wins the round and takes all six dice and adds them to their pool. Play continues until only one person has dice left and they are the winner. There are also a few different variations you can choose to play that change things up a bit. It's a great addition but we found that the original version was the most fun. You can also expand the player count to 6 but it will require purchasing their two player versiono, Trash Dice.We did have a lot of fun playing and it was VERY quick to both learn and teach. We had fun trying to beat each other and there was a lot of laughing. The only reasons for my 4 star review are the dice colors and the fact that you have to use a bit of force to get the lid on and off of the dumpster. I worry that, over time, that will be something that could give out. For now, it's working just fine though. For $25, you are getting a VERY well made dumpster along with 80 dice so it is well worth the price!

We had a ton of fun playing this game in a variety of ways (most of them were in the instruction booklet, but we also invented a few of our own styles). The game is super straightforward and easy to learn at any age. The kit works for up to 4 players and can be expanded with a set of "Trash Dice" or another "Dumpster Dice" set.My only concern about this game is how firmly the lid snaps into place. That SOUNDS like a great thing, but the lid is the gameboard and is supposed to be placed separately in the center of the table during gameplay. I am really worried that constantly snapping it off and on is going to break the clips off far faster than would happen if they had been made with a more pliable plastic. It hasn't happened yet and I don't really feel good about taking off a star for it being too well made, so I'm going to leave it at 5 stars until I have to update my review to report that one or both have broken.

So fun! We have a 4 and 6 year old and both could understand and play it. Best of all, they loved it! New restaurant waiting game!

I'll cut to the chase - for the price, this is a really nice plastic dumpster full of 80 high-quality dice. Worth the price just for the components, which is great because there really isn't much of a 'game' here. There are no choices / decisions, it's just roll and if you can't place a dice it goes in the dumpster. Still, this is a great source of parts for game designers, people who want to put together custom Yahtzee / Bunco sets, people who love dice, etc. Bonus points if you collect 4" action figures, because the plastic dumpster scales nicely with those. I suppose this would be OK for kids who are learning to count, but kids beyond that age will be quickly bored by the game and will just play with the bits.
