Use Big Horn's 4-Inch by 2-1/2-Inch adapter when you want to connect your 4-Inch hose to a 2-1/2-Inch hard fitting. Use a hose clamp (not included) for best connection.

The 4" size was perfectly sized (3 7/8" OD) to accept a 4" dust hose. However, the 2.5" side on this was exactly the same size as the 2.5" dust port on my table saw so it didn't work. The 2.5" side of this adapter has an OD of 2 7/16" and an ID of 2 1/4".
