Needed a good quality block plane for smaller and more detailed work in my workshop. Saw this Big Horn version and decided to give it a try. Very impressed with the value this piece has for the price. The plane is built quite well and seems very durable. Has a compact body that is perfect for trimming and smoothing, especially for smaller areas or tight spots. I like how easily it is to adjust the depth of cut. Needs a bit of honing but once you get it, it is a remarkable piece. Solid fine and great addition to my woodworking arsenal.
