Use these for tungsten carbide stump grinder teeth. They work well at 25,000 rpms in my 1/4" die grinder. I don't recommend using them slower than 25k, as they aren't smooth at lower speeds, which is to be expected.

So Pepe passed, needed a monument. Pictured is a chunk of NH granite, about 18x24”, the “paw” is about 15” diameter and everything carved about 3/16-1/4” deep. Used a combination of the round, the ovals, and the rounded cylinder burrs. Minimally used some water as coolant, spraying down every minute or two but not at all flooding them. Most of them are still like new, the larger oval, used the most is minimally worn but still has lots to go. I’m SUPER impressed for what they cost. Will undoubtedly come in handy again some time. My only tiny gripe, though I won’t take off a star is the shanks are a bit not uniform in diameter. Used these in an old pro electric die grinder, with a very precise collet fit. One just barely tightened in the collet, 2 were perfect, and 1 just barely fit and I was scared I wouldn’t get it out. Anyway for an occasional project I don’t see how you could beat this set.

Tried each bit in the set to do some grinding in soapstone...each bit worn out quickly & stopped cutting. Don't waste your money on these bits...they're overpriced JUNK.

Tungsten Cardide bits wouldn't work. These bits worked well would be 5 star but need to see how long they last.

Per the photos....I used one bit to grind away adhesive from a 1.5'X2.5' section of concrete floor in the bathroom. One bit removed all of the residue. The bit performed very well. After the job, the bit was worn down by say 75%. It is almost time to replace the bit but I will use it a little more.PS. Wanted to contain dust from getting all over the house. That was the reason for using this bit near the entrance. I used an angle grinder for the rest of the floor.

Worked well, but the shanks were not exactly 1/4" and did not fit my die grinder very well.

These things work pretty well. They gum up when used on plastic but work great on metal.

So, if it wasn't as coarse as I really wanted, why did I give it a 5? I am very impressed with the quality and price. I needed to enlarge the space between some cement blocks in a foundation project and these are just too fine for that, but I won't dis them for my wish when they are impressive in their own right. They cut the cement, just too slowly for my needs. They left a nice smooth groove (that I will fill wit mortar). I'll gouge out the cement with something else but I will keep them in a place where I can find them for the next time i am carving someone's name in tile or granite.

Purchased this diamond burr set to grind out two 12 inch long hairline cracks on the outside of our basement wall before patching to prevent leaks. The 1/4" shank fit in my air powered die grinder. The long shanks and different head shapes were perfect for this project. The pointed burr was used to grind a small v groove in the surface of the cracks to make it easier to see. The cylindrical burr was used to make the groove deeper and wider. And the spherical burr was used to undercut the grooves to lock in the patching cement. The burrs held up very well and still have plenty of life left. This burr set was perfect for this application and would buy again.
