Overall, the dent rod feel very heavy duty. I had concerns about the plastic threaded inserts but they are fine. I wish there were shorter threaded inserts but that's only for my particular situation. I would buy this again.

I am not a PDR professional but have spent several weeks working with various tools to remove dents on two cars. PDR is extremely difficult (is an art/craft and takes a lot of practice) but getting the right tools is an important first step! If you are to repair major dents on the fender, especially where you can access from the wheel well with leverage on the tire, this big, heavy crowbar is a must-have. The usual DIY dent removal rods/sticks that you can purchase cheap will bend when pushed and you lose the leverage to push the dent; also they tend to move around. The crowbar here is wide and heavy duty, and it's easy to rest it on the tire once you find the spot and you can focus on pushing the dent out rather than fighting to keep it in place.The downside of this tool--again, I focus on the crowbar--is that there are dents you couldn't access with it because of the size, space, how it's curved, etc. Again, around the wheel well (tire) is what I think where its best application is.

If you have some minor dings and dents, this set works good at fixing those. Do a search on youtube and you can see how to use these kinds of tools, its pretty easy. I was able to take care of a big door dent on my wifes 4runner fairly easily. The tools are a good price and good quality and can recommend them.
