The design of this basket is good, it folds flat although it folds quick and my son almost got his fingers pinched. Now we are careful when we collapse it. It has plenty of room, the liner bag is sturdy. The waterproof cover seems useless. We do not ride bikes when there is threat of rain, so that went directly to the bin.It is a basic basket, mounts easily if it is compatible with your bike. My sons bike did not have a support over the rear tire, so we had to figure that out before we could use it.

The spring loaded folding crate might not be the most durable crate you can find, but it performs well, does its job, and setup was really easy. I don't recommend even bothering with the included mounting clamps, and for 2 reasons. First, They were a bit of a pain didn't align well with my rack and secondly, if you have some oversized haul and need to remove while out on the road, your not gonna have tools, so wire ties which are included are the right choice here... Snip and easily put back and i have had no issues while using the zip ties. The included bag is nice for light grocery shopping, pop a few things in and right in the basket it goes. The cargo net is nice as well, although be sure to secure it properly, those things are spoke killers if it finds it way down towards your wheel. Also comes with a rain cover. The item is spring loaded and when folded closed, is held via a little wire you move to clamp, and unclamp it, it pops together by itself. Love this item way more than a top backpack, and also my pannier bags are better hanging off this item, than the rack direct keeping the bag higher and away from the wheels, I can carry a lot more now.

I'm not this biggest fan of this basket and bag set. there's not much wrong with it. it's simple and basic and straightforward. works perfectly fine. it's sturdy and everything. it's just ugly. 8 don't like how it looks on my bike and unfortunately that's enough for me to pass on it. ymmv

This bike basket is spacious and sturdy, which makes it great for carrying stuff on my daily rides. It can folds up, so it doesn’t take up much space when I’m not using it. The removable inner bag and waterproof cover are super handy and cover pretty much everything I need. It was simple to install and fits my bike well. I’ve been using it regularly since it arrived, and I’m happy with it.

It comes with the metal basket, it comes with a cloth liner, it comes with an elastic cargo net, and it comes with a rain cover. It also comes with a rear reflector.Assembly was very easy but it does have one shortcoming. One shortcoming is that the four metal mounting bars that are used to attach it to your bike rack are should be an inch or two longer. As it is there barely long enough to extend past the metal grid on each side of the basket. They only extend about 1/3-1/2 of an inch beyond the grid on each side. Because of this the basket may come loose from your bike rack as it gets jostled around while you're riding . So be sure to tighten up the nuts tightly if you mount it in the center position. This is if you want to have the basket centered on your bike rack. If you don't mind your basket being offset by 2 inches you can get a better overlap of the metal bars with the cage by shifting it either to the left or the right on the cage. This is what they have done in the video and on the photos on the product page. If you look closely the basket is not centered on the bike racks in the photo and in the video. One star deducted.Be careful when folding and unfolding the cage because the Springs are very strong and they could hurt your fingers if you let them fly as fast as they would like to fly open. Because these mounting brackets are bolted to your bike rack this is a semi-permanent attachment to your rack which means you have to unbolt it each time you want to use a different bag on your rack. It's probably only a 3 to 5 minute operation to remove the bolts. However this also comes with zip ties that they want you to use to the secure the basket to your bike rack around the outside edges. If you do use the zip ties then you're pretty much permanently mounting this to your bike rack because each time you want to remove it you'll have to cut the zip ties. One star deducted.The cargo net attaches with hooks and it's very easy to take the cargo nut on and off. The rain cover simply stretches over the top of the hole set up and it is also very easy to install and remove. The rain cover does not come with any velcro or anything else to keep it in place on a very windy day so you'll want to make sure that you have it adequately secured. The cloth basket attaches to the middle grid frame using velcro and that attachment and removal is very easy to do.I would like to see improvements in the way the basket attaches to the bike rack in the two ways that I mentioned above.This is a very good basket set for the price.Overall, four stars for me with one star deducted for the length of the mounting brackets being too short for my liking.

I really love this basket. It easily folds flat when not in use and springs open when needed. It attaches easily to my bike rack and rides well. There is also a bag included to keep things from getting dusty or wet while riding which is perfect for me.It is sturdy and I expect it to last for a long time.

The little basket that came with the scooter looked stylish, but was impractical. I had to carry an extra tool bag for roadside emergencies, and used saddle bags for any kind of grocery shopping. This new one's big enough to hold everything. It's not too wide, it's a perfect fit under the seat, and doesn't hang too far off the back end..This scooter's basket mount has M8 threaded holes which will work for this basket, or I can use the provided M6 nuts and bolts. The basket folds to a flat surface, to transport something large like a duffel bag. Be careful unfolding the basket. Do one side at a time while holding everything else down. The springs are strong enough to knock out a tooth..Good quality paint job, looks like powder coating. Walls are stiff and sturdy. The inner liner is great to have. It will prevent small things from falling out while providing some privacy. Velcro secures the four corners. I would have made something like this if it wasn't included.There's a rain hat, cargo net... I'm picky about things that go on the scooter and so far there's nothing about this basket that I don't like. Asking price was $19.99.
