Not that easy to figure out how to use. It might take me a few times to get it right.

This Super B (weird name) bike chain cleaner is a great alternative to using a greasy rag. It takes a little getting used to at first—there’s a bit of a learning curve in aligning it on the chain and figuring out hand placement without spilling cleaning fluid on your hands -- but once you’ve done it a couple of times, it's pretty easy. The build quality is solid, with rotating brushes and a removable handle that I suppose is intended to makes shipping and storage easier (but you'll probably just throw it on a shelf in your garage, with the handle on perpetually). At $29 (with a $3 coupon at the time of this writing), it feels well priced for what you get. It includes a little reservoir for degreaser and even has a magnet to catch tiny metal particles. Once you’ve degreased your chain, I recommend applying something like White Lightning chain lube to keep it cleaner longer and protect it from grime. Overall, it's well made, and does the job of maintaining your chain more efficient and less messy.

This tool works great. This is one of the best ways to quickly clean your bike chain while keeping the mess to a minimum. I decided to use this with Park Tool chain cleaner that works in their particular chain cleaning tool and it worked great. I usually run the chain through this tool for about 2-3 minutes and it removes everything, keeping my mountain bike chain super clean and ready for fresh lube. I’ve found that cleaning my chain every 4-5 rides keeps it operating at its best, allowing for better shifting and smoother pedaling. The cleaning tool is easy to use, install and remove. Once installed, fill it with cleaner and it’s ready for use. The design of the tool is pretty cool. I also own the Park Tool version of this tool and I have to say that they work similarly. This device is durable and ready for multiple uses - I’ve used it a handful of times now and it works like it’s new each time. Overall great product.

Cleaning the ole bike chain is not the most glamorous of tasks, but it can be made easier with this Bike Chain Cleaner from Super B. The cleaner arrives disassembled, but you can quickly figure out how to put it together just by looking at the product photos. Once assembled, degreaser can be added to the top chamber with the included little funnel, and a thumb lever on top allows you to control HOW MUCH of the cleaning solution is dripped on the bike chain as it transits through the cleaner. Just be sure you place the lower half of the cleaner on the BOTTOM of bike chain, then add the upper half with locking clip and holding handle, and then spin the pedals BACKWARDS (counterclockwise) to correctly feed the chain through the cleaning device.Although the price of this item is a bit on the high side for my liking, it is nevertheless fairly well designed, even including an internal magnet to attract and catch metallic particles lodged in the bike chain. If you have several bikes in your inventory, this cleaner will probably earn back its purchase price the first time you clean them greasy chains!Don’t forget to REPLACE your chain’s lubricant after cleaning, using a bike-specific lubricant (NOT WD40, which is basically a degreaser) that is specifically designed to ward off water and dirt from the chains, rollers and pins to prevent your chain from corroding. Afterward, wipe off the excess, and you’re good to go pedaling down the road!
