I needed a small bag to fit on the small rack of my Dahon. I have a basket on the front, so I only need it to carry a tube and tire tools and maybe a water bottle. It also passed my "big enough for a bottle of wine" test, which will come in handy sometime I'm sure. And with the expander unzipped, it holds two bottles! Like others, I was concerned that velcro straps on the side don't grab much more than an inch, but the surplus straps obviously make it easier to take off if you want to use it like a purse when you go to the store. Also I gave it a good tug and the velcro straps held, so I don't think its going anywhere I don't want it to. The side stiffeners give it the smooth look I like. I can't rate it on durability today, but it looks well made and well designed, especially for the low price.

This is a nice, small sized bag and the size works well on my narrow roadie rack (Bontrager BackRack Light). I just wish that the Velcro connectors sewn on the side of the bag went up a little bit higher. As my rack is narrow, there is less than an inch of Velcro material sticking together at each of the four connections to the rack. I'm thinking if there's a little weight inside this bag, the Velcro will loosen due to the pressure exerted on the connections .

This bag is a bit narrower than your average trunk bag, but that is what I like about it. I hooked this to an axiom streamliner disk rack and it holds well. The quality of the material/zippers is better than expected for this price point, and the sides are supported by a stiff internal plastic wall that keeps the bag from sagging/flopping. I have this set up on my vintage road bike, and I love the narrow profile and expand-ability. There are two internal pockets holding snug to the sides for keys/tools/wallet or whatever you want to put in there. The bag can hold (all at one time):spare t-shirt, coil bike lock, phone, small allen set, tire levers, 2 spare tubes, patch kit, garage remote, house keys, full lunch sack, flip flops, and a 16oz water bottle comfortably. I'm sure someone can cram more stuff in there but for basic daily needs/commute its perfect. I even use it for tiny grocery runs where I just need 1 or 2 things.

Love this bag and mount, I bought two of them. Bag is easily mounted and adapts to many brackets. With strap easily becomes a carry bag. Stiff sides maintain sharp and the expandable feature is great.

This is a nice bag which is a little smaller than it appears in the photo but still big enough to pack waterproof cycling jacket, pants and a repair kitI used this on a 2 hour cycle in constant rain and it did not let in any water

I have had this for a while and like it. Over all build and material is pretty good. For the price and light duty day trips this should be a nice bag for you to use and store Items as you ride. The velcro straps are well attached to the body and seem to work well. The body is of the bag is not a heavy duty material when compared to high end bags but if you only want a low cost option I would recommend this.

I love this bag.Pros: Lower profile(but not low) makes it easy to get on and off bike, so i don't have to raise my leg higher than the seat.Rigid Plastic side panels under fabric, so it does not fall over.Has two pockets inside bag one is zippered and one is elastic, great for those little tools if you become stranded. One zippered small pocket on the rear, with reflective strip on top and tiny delta logo.Expandable top , really helped when i stopped at a garage sale of the bike path, and bought a very large sea shell, it was able to fit inside with my cable lock, sunflower seeds, and 16.9 oz water bottle.Fit on my 5" wide rack like it was made for it, Mighty Full Alloy Pannier Rack that i bought on amazon at the same time i bought this bag.The cloth material seems strong, and durable. Zippers all work smoothly.Cons: Velcro might wear out if you take it on and off the bike a lot, but i plan to rarely remove the trunk bag.The review from the person who said his lasted 7 yrs then bought anther one. Made me pull the trigger. Its a plain but good looking bag, understated.

I bought my bag from a bike store for almost twice the price listed here on Amazon. When I went to purchase one for my wife's bike and checked here, I was amazed at the price difference! The bag is a very sturdy and spacious addition to my planet bike rack. It enables me to carry a ton of stuff on our longer rides. The carry strap is a lifesaver if you have to lock your bike to a rack and don't feel comfortable leaving the bag attached. Simply slip the clip on strap onto your bike bag and voila! you can use it like a tote. Very convenient! I would highly recommend this product. There are more expensive bags out there, but for the money, this one is very hard to beat.

I set out to find a product that would be as close as possible to that which I would design from scratch. This Delta Trunk Bag comes awfully close. As described, material and zippers all seem to be first class. It seems that it DOES have some stiffening material in the sides to help keep it's shape, I hope it's some form of plastic and not cardboard. One very nice touch is a full length extension of the material covering the zipper around the top, essentially a flap to protect the zipper from dirt and grit.Size fits my Blackburn rack perfectly. Without even needing to open the gusset, it holds a roll of tools, a folded up towel and a sweatshirt. While I may rarely need to open the gusset, it's great to have it there. BTW, indeed the zippers for the top and the gusset arrived all at the back of the pack, I simply slipped the gusset's zippers around to the front side where they can't interfere withy opening the top lid. There are 6 attachment points, 2 on each side and 2 at the front to secure it from sliding back. Unfortunately, the 2 front attachment points seem designed ONLY for the Delta rack, they can not be used to secure it to my rather standard Blackburn rack. The 4 side attachments work fine, BUT the velcro attachment parts sewn onto the bag are very small. They are less than an inch long, while the strap part extends for about an additional inch and a half and connects to nothing, flapping in the wind. Looking at both my rack and the Delta rack, the same situation would play out. While they SEEM secure, seeing 65% of what COULD attach flap in the breeze is a bit disconcerting. I will be getting some velcro material and sewing on additional material so the whole length of the strap can be attached. There is a somewhat thin strip of reflective material on the rear pocket... it would be better for it to be double it's current width. Also, there's no reflective material on the sides at all... again, having some there would be a very good design advance, and something I would mod the bag with.At it's price point, it's a very good value.
