If the bearing is a good idea, then this press should come with two of them, one on top, one on the bottom. Otherwise, terrific tool, does what it’s supposed to.

I returned this although the quality seemed very good the threaded rod is metric and was too short for my bike. Unfortunately I ended up seating my new headset with wood and a rubber hammer and it came out right but that's not their way to do things.

Rather than taking my new headset and frame to a shop, I decided to order the tool and do the work myself. The tool appears to be of good quality and worked really well for my frame. My head tube was 130mm long, so the tool was long enough.

Certainly wouldnt say this is pro shop quality and did not expect it to be. If you want to go find the pieces you could make it pretty ez yourself but for the price it would not be worth it. With a bit of grease on my new Cane Creek Viscoset top piece if pressed it right into place without so much as a whimper.

This was a great tool to install new bearings in the bottom bracket of my bike. The tool is solid and well built.I had some worn bearings in the bottom bracket of my road bike but the bearing casings were frozen, eventually, I was able to get them out. For the instillation of the new ones, I had a lot of trouble and couldn't get them to fit fell. I bought this on Amazon and I was able to get all of the bearings in the right place without any banging. Super easy and well worth the money if you ever need to do anything with the bottom bracket of your bike.

The Ten Virtues Bike Headset Cup and Bottom Bracket Press Installation Tool works fine, great price and the instructional video is all you need to use this tool competently(make sure to use lots of good bike grease, phil wood or parktool greases are commonly used), it accommodates a few different headset sizes and comes with minimal packaging. There are 2 rubber o-rings to keep the handle in place while turning but they arrived broken, this is not a problem as you may change the position of the handle for more leverage anyway. In use, initially it may appear as though your headset is being pressed in crooked, but from my experience, keep turning the bolt and it will press into place without any damage. You may only use this tool a handful of times in the life of your bike but since it costs less than the more popular brands of similar tools and is cheaper than going to a bike mechanic , I think it's worth it...unless you have a friend that will install your headset for free.
