The good point of this multitool is obvious. It has every possible bike tool you can think of. Wrenches, spoke wrenches, allen wrenches, screwdrivers, a chain breaker, a pocket knife, and even splits in half to become two separate tools and a set of tire levers for even more versatility. Almost anything that can be fixed on the roadside or trail can be fixed with this tool. I was pleasantly surprised to find it had a safety locking mechanism as well to keep tools from slapping shut on your hand.Ok, that's the good points, what's the bad? Well 2 things, and they stem from the same issue. This tool is clearly made of some kind of cast metal. Magnesium or zinc alloy I assume. It's not forged steel like a certain blue handled quality tool maker's tools. From that construction comes weight, and a lack of durability. It will be heavy. Heavy is expected from having so many tools in one place, and I'm no weight weenie, so that doesn't bother me much. You probably still save weight by not having to carry as many different tools. The other issue is a bigger problem. Cast metal is soft. It will bend, it will break, and it will round off under levels of torque that better made tools would handle. Does that mean this tool is junk? No, it will do its job as a roadside emergency tool. Just don't try to make it your primary tool. Keep a set of quality tools at home where weight is no issue for regular maintenance, and use this as your portable tool. Keep an eye on it for any regular use tools rounding off, and be ready to replace it when the time comes.I won't judge this tool too harshly for not being something it's not meant to be. It does its job of being lots of tools in one place quite well.

This little bad boy has it all! A MUST HAVE for bike riders but for any situation for that matter! It’s so well thought out and really unique with its carrying case that can all fit in your palm. I did have to play with it a little bit just to figure out how all the Mac has almost work but once I did it, it was a snap! Really cool little gadget.

I dislike having to refute other reviews but this is the case where people can't bother to watch a 40 second video on the product page to figure out how to use a tool. The video does an excellent job of explaining how to separate the tool and unlock the knife blade. There's a flat button that is spring loaded to latch some of the wrenches and the blade in place. It's a good design and not that difficult to figure out even without the video. This is a bike tool for road use. It's not the tool you want to use to install your bike pedals. You need a torque wrench for most bike work if you want to do it right. Work on your bike at home with the proper tools. Work on it during road side emergencies with something like this. There is a flat head screwdriver AND a bottle opener. Very hard to miss. SMH at these reviews...I've tried a variety of bike tools and I like this one a lot. It's not that small or sexy but it has a lot to offer. The split design is a good idea--you use the one side to turn the pin on the chain break. Neat. There's a knife. Not many have a knife. The plastic clip that hold the tool together is a bit on the fragile side. It might break but that won't really detract from the tools overall usefulness. It is a bit on the bulky and clunky side. It's really not light weight. I don't mind as I'll compromise the size for the effectiveness of the tools. I've been stuck on the road with a really sexy looking tool that had no Allen 5 to remove a bent chain stay. A good looking lightweight tool is really useless in most cases. In the past I've complained at these tools including a chain break. I had never needed one on the road. Today I needed one. First time ever. A link separated and bent and was catching in my rear derailleur. I used this tool and removed that link. I was back on the road in under five minutes. A word of advise: Bring latex gloves with you in your kit. The chain is a messy beast. I had to wrap the tool in spare glove when I was finished because I made a greasy mess of it too. No matter - the chrome bits clean up easily. On the chain break side - There's no way I could have used one of the integrated breaks on my other tools. This one worked because I was able to use the split away side as a wrench to turn the bolt with enough force to remove the pin. Chains are stubborn, especially when bent.

This review is for: USHAKECAMP Bike Multi Tool MTB Multi Tool-Bicycle Multi-Function Tools with Carry CaseThis tool is perfect for field fixes! I enjoy biking and find that I dislike carrying a full tool kit around. This is a very nice multi tool set. Granted I have only tested it in a limited fashion. I took out every tool and made sure that they were true to sizes and worked for mine and my kids bikes. They do.Couple of things to be aware of.1) The 6/10 mm hex key has a little ball bearing keeping the 10mm head on. It can slide down to become the 6mm.... and it can also come off. Easily lost. The little ball bearing does not prevent it from falling off.2) The knife is hard to deploy. I assume this is on purpose. The back of the wrench side has a locking plate for tool use. The knife will only be deployed after pressing that locking plate down as far as it can go. The other tools easily deploy and then lock into position until you press the lock plate and fold them in. The knife is locked for both deployment and reverse.3) No instructions. There is a diagram on the side of the box for each tool but there are no instructions on tool use (how to deploy tools, how to lock/unlock the two halves) and this could result in damage. For these reasons I an deducting 1 star.I like the tool and I think it will accommodate all my needs for basic bike repairs on the road. (hopefully few and far between and limited to a flat tire)
