I'm not a professional mechanic—just a DIYer who enjoys maintaining my own bike. That said, this clamp is a major upgrade from my previous one. While it did cost about twice as much, the difference in quality is immediately noticeable and well worth the price. The jaw and spline are made from high-density plastic, and they feel solid and durable. It held my mountain bike securely with zero play in the joints. The rotation and expansion mechanisms operate smoothly, and the whole unit feels robust and well-built. I don’t own an e-bike, but based on my test—clamping a 45-lb dumbbell from my home gym—it handled the weight with no issues at all.I like having professional-grade tools without paying professional prices, and this clamp delivers exactly that. I considered Park Tool, but couldn't justify the cost for home use. This stand hits the sweet spot: solid performance, good build quality, and a reasonable price. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a dependable bike clamp without going over budget.

Feels very robust and is easy to adjust on the fly for clamping to different angles and diameters of bike tubes. Installation was fairly easy, except the L-shaped bracket seemed a little bend or the holes were misaligned for one of the pins so I had to really fight to get it aligned when screwing it together. But once together, I was able to use this to lift my 30lb bike off the ground and clean/lubricate the chain, adjust my brakes and tweak my drivetrain easier than ever before. Super stoked to have a real bike stand for maintenance! My main 2 gripes:- The arm protrusion is about 2-3" less than I'd like so if you mount this to a table or bench that is fairly flat on the side (not undercut much/at all) then your pedals will likely hit the table while you spin them. This was pretty annoying as my table has a protrusion from the frame down near the floor so I had to unscrew and re-mount this stand in a different spot.- The rubber pieces on the grips are only held in with friction and they protrude in a way that they snag on my bike tube every single time and the rubber folds in on itself. Super, super frustrating to then have to hold the bike in the air one-handed while I fiddle with getting the rubber back in place. I may end up super-gluing those rubber pieces on so they stay put.One small gripe: The photo in the instructions and on the box shows the L-bracket facing the opposite direction, which would make the clamp stick out a few inches more, so after I set it up the first time I thought oh maybe I did it backwards, but the holes are different sizes so it only fits one way. So idk what's going on with that photo but in reality you install it like the photo on this product page with the short side of the L pointing AWAY from your bike.

This surprised me. I've had floor standing bike repair stands and this performs as well as any I've had as long as you have a solid mounting point.First I think this should really be a bench mount only. I don't see how this would work with an assembled bike on the wall. That's just my take. In terms of what type of bench you need, essentially you need anything with sturdy top. Something with like an inch of top material at least, or this should be anchored through with lag bolts into solid wood underneath. If you just slap this on a plywood bench top with drywall screws you'll likely end up needed to re-mount at some point. The teeth on this grip a seat post or frame very well. You need to use some common sense when placing a bike into this frame. The teeth will grip hard enough to damage a carbon frame so keep that in mind. That said you you've reached the point of needed a repair stand you probably already know that.Once clamped down I found that this performed well. I have used it on a somewhat heavy touring bike with a pannier rack installed. I didn't have any concerns about it dropping out of the mount. No concerns with any of my other bikes. If you have the bench space to mount a permanent repair stand like this, then you'll find that this is more than capable.Who is this for? It's for the person who does their own repairs and maintenance at home. In a pinch it could work in a shop setting but more expensive mounts will last much longer in an actual shop.
