The setback tube was as described. My only problem with it is the chrome finish where the saddle must be clamped. In my arrangement of the saddle clamp, for lowest seat elevation from the bottom bracket, the chromium finish prevents the clamp from gripping rigidly, and the saddle tilts when I dismount the bike. I have tighten the clamping nuts as much as possible, but that does not do it. With no other ideas, I decided to rough the surface of the setback tube and the point where the saddle-clamp grabs it. I did that with a file. I filed the chrome finish to scratch it and increase the friction of the contact. That area should not have had a polished finished.

I used it to get more leg room from the handle of a cruiser bike ,which the frame design left not much space and when pedalling your knees are almost touching the handle tip, which is curved as per cruiser design.

This was the solution for my post knee replacement desire to get back on my bike. This seat post moved the seat back, providing a better position to push the pedals. The seat also is closer to the ground, improving safety.

The pipe bent just from riding it. No one was doing jumps or any tricks, and the thing bent. I was able to put a solid piece of pipe inside to keep it from bending.
