I appreciate that it comes with so many spares for multiple repairs. I patched up a couple tires. They held up well until I got my replacement. Ive no idea what I was doing but it was pretty straight forward to be honest. Scuff it up, smother the glue and attach the patches then youre done.Ive no idea how long theyll actually last in terms of durability since I only patched up tires for a few days but I was fairly impressed that it got rid of the air leak/punctures.These are decent and really straight forward kit for this price. Give em a go!

Faced with the prospect of purchasing a new tire or inner tube for my road bike, for a fraction of the cost I decided to give this patch kit a try. This is a nice little kit, from the standpoint of providing several patches of different sizes, sandpaper, rasps, and two tubes of rubber cement (so you won’t accidentally waste a huge tube for a small repair.) It all comes in a small plastic storage box ideal for taking with you when you’re on the go — because the last thing you need is to be stranded with a flat and no easy way to fix it.Included is a tiny sheet with visual instructions and just six words. Not especially helpful. But there is also a fancy folded card containing the “real” instructions. I suggest you follow the latter and not the former. I removed the inner tube from the wheel rim and held it under water until I located the source of the leak, a small hole that I circled. When the tube was dry, I used the smallest patch in the kit and followed the directions, first rasping the rubber around the spot where the repair would go, then applying the adhesive, pressing on the patch and making sure the edges were all flat. I gave it a couple of minutes to set, but the edge of the patch wouldn’t hold.I removed the patch, cleaned up the area again, and used a different patch. This time I let it sit for a few hours and it seemed to hold. But would it work on the bike? I left the tire inflated at 45 psi for a couple of weeks before I actually had a chance to test the repair. I rode around the block and got home, prepared to call the operation a success, when suddenly I heard a pop and the air hissing out of the tire. So I can’t recommend this product. I have used patch kits in the past that worked much better and lasted longer. Would this have gotten me home in a pinch on a long ride? Perhaps, but doubtful. Next time I’ll just buy the new inner tube.

This kit has everything you’d need to patch your tire. It’s nice that I can toss it in my bag with a portable air compressor, so I’m set for a patch anytime! The real size of these patches is surprising, these could fix even the nastiest of gashes, it seems. The only teeny tiny problem is that the petroleum tube cap does not close the tube securely, so some has leaked into the plastic baggie I have it in. I haven’t used it before in a patch job, so I think I’ll be okay without it. This totally beats what they tried selling me at the bike shop, which only worked half of the time.

This kit has a nice assortment of sizes and feels like a decent value for price. I like the compact box they come in and I like that it comes with two glue tubes as I don't use patches enough to use a larger single tube before it dries out. Some of the patches in this kit are not lined up quite right and the edges seem thin, however, who cares, it's a patch that glues a hole shut and is hidden within the tire and these will do the job.

This is a comprehensive kit that includes glue, patches that you need to make any bicycle tube repair.I have had the chance to use this kit on the trail and it was easy to use and fit perfectly with no leak and has held for over a week. This is a quality kit that is functional and a awsome value for the money.
