Slow to ship out. Purchased December 30, but label wasn't created/shipped until Jan 6. Received pretty quick after that on Jan 9 though. The tool itself is not really that impressive, but it got the job done. Used it on a Shimano 37x24 T cup and cone bottom bracket. It doesn't seem to be very hard steel, as it mushroomed slightly from one use. My recommendation to avoid it slipping (a common problem even with more expensive tools) is a headset press or even just a long bolt, nut and washer just tight enough to hold it flat against the fixed cup of the bottom bracket. That's what worked for me.The pins fit nicely in the adjustable cup and I have no doubt they will work just fine.If I had plans to keep restoring vintage bikes I would fork up the extra money for the Park Tool wrench. However, this was a good price for this one project and future infrequent maintenance.

Soft metal doesn’t work too well getter off with a cup design that’s doesn’t slipp under pressure

An easy to use and good working tool that I absolutely needed to replace the bearings in an older bottom bracket.

I purchased this as a lower cost option to the Park Tool HCW-4 to remove an old bottom bracket . I wish I had just spent the extra 10 dollars and gotten the better tool. It is very hard to remove the fixed cup side of a bottom bracket with this thing. Its design makes it want to fall off. There are three issues that I see:1) unlike the Park Tool wrench, it's angled instead of straight, which makes it near impossible to hold on the bike with one hand while you hammer with the other (which is often required, since the BB cup is very tight and tough to remove). The angle shifts the weight of the wrench and makes it want to lift off of the BB, which is exactly what you don't want. 2) the opening for the BB cup is too big, so it doesn't sit snugly in place, again wanting to fall off 3) it's too thick, which again makes it not want to stay on the thin BB cup you're trying to remove.Even an adjustable wrench is a better tool to remove the BB cup than this is.

I got this because I wanted the versatility of the movable pin arm for non-standard bottom bracket. The adjustable arm is great but it is more of a hassle to fit than a fixed diameter wrench.Overall the tool is sturdy and well thought out including the bend angles which can save your fingers from smashing into bike parts. Park Tool is still the gold standard in bike tools, but BIKEHAND is a decent alternative for those of us who aren't using the tools daily but don't want to take our chances dipping into the no name grabbag of bike tools.

This worked for me, but not on its own. It's super hard to get a good grip on a 36mm bottom bracket cup with this wrench; it constantly slips off. My solution was to pass some threaded rod through the bottom bracket shell and use two big washers to essentially pinch the tool and hold it in place on the BB cup. Then I gave it a good tug (reverse threaded, so clockwise to unscrew) and the cup came loose and spun out freely. I read about something similar on a bike forum after trying to use the tool unsuccessfully on its own. I also used some penetrating spray! Good luck!
