Our condo building doesn't have any outside outlets on patios/balconies. With only plug in pumps for our fountains, we had to run a surge protector through an open patio door to reach the nearest outlet. But this only works in warmer weather and is a hassle to plug and unplug every time we’re outside. When outdoors in cooler weather, leaving the patio door slightly ajar for a cord brings in a cold, energy wasting drafts.This 12 volt solar pump with a long cord attached to the solar panel was exactly what we needed. As we’re southwest facing, we get sun throughout our patio garden but the sun travels. Having a separate panel placed in the longest sunny spot made a huge difference as the fountain is partially shaded until later in the afternoon. Now we can have great sounding fountain throughout the day without the hassle of a plug in and saves on our heating bills!The strength of this fountain is great for our larger bowl and with the multiple tips, sizes and included tubing, this can be changed as often as needed in any future changes to our decor. 5 stars!

it works very well on sunny days, but on cloudy days the fountain is a little weaker, but it still works well all the time. I am very happy with the product and the price.

I live in the desert. So lots of sun but not a lot of water. I have this little pump/sprinkler in a dish placed along my watering system. My hopes are this will attract the local wildlife that likes to chew on my water hoses. They chew on the plastic tubing so if the sound of sprinkling water will lure them I will be a happy camper. Really only time will tell on whether my plan works. As for this system, easy to set up. The pump works efficiently. If you are away from an outlet and want a little bird bath this would be perfect.

This will be used to replace a pump for outside in the garden. It's very powerful, more than I need, but I can make it work.To test, it pushed water up a 1/4 in tube 6 feet.

…..it may work quite nicely, but we are in the middle of a winter freeze, so no chance to test it.However, the parts, while well made, are all plastic and do not appear very sturdy.We shall see, but I think the price is driven simply by the inclusion of the solar panel, and it doesn’t appear to possible that it will have any longevity.Time will tell

I got this for a little pond we recently installed and I am so glad I did! It’s been working great since we installed it. I like how easy it was to install and it didn’t require any professional services or tools. Everything is really good quality and I anticipate it will last a very long time.The water pressure from the pump is perfect and the little fountain that it puts up is great for keeping the water circulating. The panel itself is larger than I thought which is great because it’s giving us 12W of power which is pretty significant for a solar panel. I can even use the solar panel for other things if I want to instead of the pump. For instance my husband and w were talking about possibly taking it with us for our next camping trip to keep our cell phones charged up and our lights.I’m very happy with this product and will recommend it to my friends and family too! It’s exactly what I hoped for and I am glad to have it!

This pump came fast and works as described. Solar panel has to be in direct sunlight for it to really pump well. I will update if I have any issues.
