You want this. Used on my 68 beetle with a 1500 single port. Super solid. Installed perfect. Looks good, but thats a plus. No worries of my distributor going anywhere.

I should say up front, I used this as the starting point for a modified bracket to mount a Pertronix Flamethrower distributor to a Dodge 2.2 engine.This involved making the hold on the arm into an oval shape. That being said. This is a very well built part, and hold the distributor firmly in place.For those of you the have to modify the arm for other applications the casting is robust enough to tolerate machine work.
