The warmer failed about 14 months after in service. Open circuit on the resistance (heating) wire. I traced the fault, which naturally was in the middle of the run. The photo shows that the wire degraded, became brittle, and failed: the wire had broken completely in half.Anything Billy’s can do, I would appreciate. I would have expected at least several years of good service. Disappointing.

I installed it several days ago and it seems to be working okay. Towels are warm and it dries used towels. It went together fairly easily and hex wrenches are provided. The location of the wall post must be precise as there is very little margin for error. The installation instructions are okay but there is a step left out which will require removing and reinstallation if not noticed. There are no operations instructions. There is no timer function. It's either on or off and the instructions don't mention an auto shut-off length. The control button and light indicator is very inconvenient for installation at or below 4 feet off the floor an can't be seen unless you use a mirror. I wouldn't buy this item again. Next time, I'll look locally so I can see the design and installation details and perhaps spend a little more.

I read the other reviews, but I liked the brass/gold finish so I took a chance. So far so good. I can fit three-four fluffy towels, the bars heat up nicely and the towels dry quickly. It looks great and works well. I’m very happy with it.

So after COVID closed everyone up , we stopped our remodel for a while. When we opened up our boxes to continue our remodel, low behold , Missing hardware . Actually I’m really disappointed. It looks cheap , the gold is not a flattering gold tone . Since my window to return is over I’m posting it for sale . I would rather not have a towel warmer then this guy .

Must say I was surprised with this. It was a long shot for the price and delivery time, but I must say it’s beyond my expectations. Looks very fancy and works as expected, dry and warm towels when you need them.

We are enjoying the nice, even warmth we are receiving throughout our towel rack. We purchased the double bar model which adds more layers of warmth to the towels, whether for hand washing or after a shower. Warms up quickly & stays constant!
