powerful but reasonably quiet for fan of this power. Very well constructed and packaged for shipping well protected but easy to unbox and assemble stand /wheels.

Other than instructions not being specific and taking a bit to get it together it is AMAZING. Perfect for the "hot flashes" :-) Love the sound as it drowns out all the unneeded interrupting sounds when trying to sleep, love the amount of air it moves, Perfect size for having in my bedroom as well as a great size if wanted to use on a patio. Quality is great!

bought this to use in my room because there's no ceiling fan and the regular old box fan was not cutting it with the summer sunshine pouring in a big window i can't cover up because house plants. when i first saw the size of the fan in person i thought i may have made a mistake and gotten something too unwieldly and overpowered for personal use. while it is indeed about as wide as an armchair, it really moves the air (and with much lower noise than i was expecting) on low settings, and i LOVE the full dial instead of just a few different power settings. the fan is big and sturdy like i wanted, easy assembly of the wheel frame (drum comes fully assembled including the handles), mostly metal construction with very little plastic, easy to adjust.

The fan is great. The instructions, for what ultimately was a relatively very easy assembly, were frustrating. You may get it right the first time (not me); you may not.
Works excellent no problems had for over a month

You really couldn't ask for a better fan. It's very well built, it's nicely painted, everything you need is nicely packaged along with the fan, and the box it came in is very sturdy. I put my furnace filter in backwards and I. I completely covered the garage with a very thick layer of dust. I was feeling pretty desperate so I bought this fan to blow air out of the garage when I used my leaf blower to get the dust out. It did an amazing job on high, and I'm really glad I got this one because it puts out the most cubic feet per minute for a 24-in fan that I could find on Amazon. I think the price is fair given how good this fan is. For the same money you can buy a DeWalt that has exactly one half the horsepower of the motor. As much as I like DeWalt tools, I don't think it can compete with this one. I put it together myself and it was pretty awkward. The instructions are spot on but getting the fan attached to the bracing was a bit of a struggle because the Fan's heavy and you need to slide some bolts in on each side

So, I am fairly handy, rebuild engines, excellent plumber, and do DIY electrical work and haven't electrocuted myself yet. I am 54 years old, been around awhile. This SOB is a pain in the ass to put together. If you are lucky enough to buy one heed my advice. Open the box take out the owner's manual verify parts. Don't follow the directions as instructed, but study how the damn thing goes together. Start from the top, fan on frame first, leave it loose. Then assemble the bottom. Wheels last. Tighten the SOB up. Took me 2 hours of screwing with this SOB to get it together. It does move air, not really 8100 CFM, it's cooking about 6300.
