For the money, I'm not sure there's a better option. Glad I went with this one. Yes, it gets jammed if you're not careful, or aware of what you're putting in the thing. Once you know the limits of the machine, you'll be able to work it no problem.1 tank of gas got through around half or more of what I had to mulch/chip, which exceeded my expectations. Put most of what I had through the top, a lot of nasty wet grassy stuff too. The wetter stuff tended to clog it up eventually, but I was always able to clear the clog (after setting everything to "off") and get it running again. Bigger pieces also get stuck if you feed them to fast, but I was able to do some devastating work by slowly feeding in the bigger branches. There is a size limit where it'll jam the motor up, but unless you're like a lumberjack or something chipping up whole logs, I can't imagine you'll have many issues. I had .25 acres of a neglected yard to clear, and there's still some work to be done, but I'm confident this chipper can handle the rest.I read a lot of reviews on chippers in this price range, and with nothing but that to compare it to I'm glad I went with this one. It's torn through everything I've fed it with relatively few hiccups considering I've never used a chipper before this. Definitely recommended.

Machine was delayed enroute which was disappointing. Packaging was impressive but one wheel had some pieces broken off. Not enough to go through trouble of repackaging and returning but disappointing none the less. I believe it will hold up. Took some time to assemble but instructions were clear and assembly was fairly intuitive if you have an understanding of mechanics. I took my time...measure twice cut once. Once together I added oil supplied and wheeled it to the work area. Machine feels sturdy and heavy duty. Followed starting instructions and it started on first pull of cord, I just let it run for a few minutes on its own. I shut it down and let it set for several minutes, checked oil and tightness of bolts. One pull and it started right up. I ran enough branches through to fill the bag. Mostly 1 inch to 2 inch and they blew right through. Be careful as the chipper will pull the wood from your hand. I ran 2 branches closer to 3 inch diameter and it bogged a little. I pulled back to allow machine to rev up and just fed it slower. Take your time and let the machine tell you what to do. Don't force feed. I have a good bit of branches left to chip. I need to do some prep work, trimming etc., and I'm looking forward to getting into some long term chipping. So far impressed with this chipper. In spite of delay and chipped wheel I give this 5 stars. Time will tell the full story.

Seems to be working just fine, started first pull. Wheels don't like to travel over rough terrain. Came with minor damage on a few metal pieces (bent) and the carburetor plastic housing was cracked in shipping. Nothing that prevented it from doing its job. First time owning a chipper and will say the top chute is dangerous. You have to throw branches in. Do not try and push them in, it will grab and pull you in if you're not careful. The side chute is good and would benefit having a larger opening.

worked well for me. I was able to remove a large brush pile in one tank of gas (~5 hours of running). **The chipper was shipped damaged but the seller was very easy to work with and come to a fair resoulution.highly recommended for small brush and tree removal projects.

Product comes with no user manual and no setup instructions. There are setup instructions online, but they are incomplete. Also, critical assembly parts were missing. Help desk service is slow.

Easy to start, started on the 2nd pull. Easy assembly. One tough machine did a test run and chipped some apple tree limbs from pruning without a problem. Dumped the chips in garbage bin without having to go to the land fill. Looking forward to using it on my grape vines, leaves and brush.

Several parts were bent that I had to straighten out so that the holes would line up for the bolts during assembly. Otherwise the assembly was fine. Functional, it works very well at its job. I did like that it started on the first pull the first time.
