I made espresso with this elegant, smooth operating, coffee grinder this morning and it did an excellent job. I used the #5 setting and a full capacity load of dark espresso roast coffee beans, which took a while to completely grind. But it was well worth the work, I very much enjoyed my first cup of perfectly ground espresso from this new grinder.I kept my box intact and placed the grinder back in the box after I finished using it, and I highly recommend that you do the same if you purchase this item. The grinder is top heavy if you leave the handle in, and since the handle is not attached, if you knock the grinder over the handle will go flying off. You can just pull the handle and lay it beside the body and leave it on your coffee stand if you like, but for me, it was just as easy to store it safely away back in it's original box.
