This birdseed protector works as intended. It goes over the cage and keeps the bird from flinging the seeds all over the floor. Birds like to crack the seeds in the shells tend to fly everywhere, and the mess is impossible to keep clean. This mash keeps it inside the cage. It has a nice stretch on either end as well.

This cage seed guard is very well made with the soft see thru white net fabric. It fits well on a larger cage I have. It has elastic to make it easy to put on ir take off. There is more gather if the fabric if the cage is small. This ends the seed being tossed out by the bird. Easy to shake clean and easy to launder.
