Better quality than I was expecting, solid feeling, and the ladder is bendable with a solid wire in it - not floppy!

The hardware that was installed on it looked like they took it off of a ‘96 Honda that had been left out in the weather for the last 10 years. Rusted, blemished, and gross looking.

It's easy to install, very sturdy, the latter is very sturdy but also flexible. My birds love it, well worth the money

When I first bought this I thought I'd give it a try. But when I got it I thought no bird wants to lay down, they stand on their perch, right? Nope. Birds do get tired standing on their legs all day. That's why you see birds standing on one leg sometimes. To give it a rest. When I saw one of my Budgies laying on the platform I thought it was sick or something. Nope, just resting. I didn't know that until I did some research on the subject. Now I think it was a good choice to get this.

I really like the platform and ladder. The only thing I would suggest is that you sand/roughen up (or perhaps use a veterinarian grade of tape) the top of the platform so the bird doesn't slip off of it. My little guy almost went sailing off of it because he was jumping around in his cage and the surface was pretty slick. I just took some sand paper and sanded it enough to make it less slick. He hasn't wanted to get back on it yet. He's still getting accustomed to his new environment. I've only had him for 2 weeks. Hopefully, he'll try again. Right now he's pretty nervous about everything.

Our parakeet loves this ladder. You can bend it into a variety of shapes and configurations. His favorite part is actually the dangling metal clips that you can use to attach it to the cage! :) We placed the ladder on top of the cage so he can play with the clips to his heart's content.

Nice toy.my parakeets love walking across the ladder to the toy.they also slept on the ladder.I love to see them happy with their new toyhighly recommended for those who have parakeets birds

I only gave this product 3 stars because it only came with 2 round screws to attach to the cage. Four round screws are needed. I had to take 2 screws from another post in order for me to attach it to the cage. Otherwise, it is very cute and well made.
