I prefer the grey colored molds to the traditional pink ones. The grey just seems more rounded and flexible. It makes the clay easier to pull/push out.I must admit I'm having a hard time with the branches because they are so tiny. I need the clay to still be mailable when I remove it from the mold so that I can wrap it around a cylinder. The detail is fantastic, so it makes it worth the effort. I just have to find the right moisture range of the clay. It's the sweet spot I'm going for and I haven't found it yet. I wish you better luck in your project ;)

The overall mold size is smaller than my hand, which means that the finished products are about the size of my thumbnail. If that's what you need, great. With that said, the material is very flexible, they are easy to clean, and the finished glass pops right out of the mold. The details on the birds are great, and you can make them in great colors, which really makes them pop. I like this a lot.

I made a hard cast of the little bird circle mold with a branch and little flowers. Assemble them and you have a very cute 3D piece.

I really love these molds they work perfectly with my wax and I can get so many different designs from them. They are perfect for the top of your candles or your melts and wax tablets. It also arrived really fast and is well packaged in its own little ziplock bag.

Ordered these molds to see if they would work for wax melts in addition to all of the other things listed in the product description. I did my initial tests with undyed and unscented food grade beeswax so they would still be food safe if the wax melt idea didn't pan out. Well, the smaller molds with the birds and tiny flowers didn't quite work out for my purposes but the larger flower-shaped ones were a much different story. The flowers are a great size to go with the other molds that I have, butterflies and half rounds, and will make nice wax melt mixes. I will probably save the other molds for food purposes and may even make a stab at cake decorating when my birthday comes up in a few months. The molds were easy to use and the details were excellent. The molds handled the heat of the wax with no problems and held their shapes well. Some of the cavities were quite shallow and it was easy to overfill them but my thought is that it was more operator error than anything else. Popping the finished beeswax items out was a breeze and cleaning was not difficult either, though it might be harder with some things like the roses if whatever material you are using doesn't set up properly. Overall these molds seem to live up expectation well enough and I like the cohesive variety in the designs...
