This picnic basket is expensive!But it is beautifully made and is a beautiful item that you would want to display in your home! I was thinking of returning it - but it is SO lovely that I couldn’t! I now use it when ‘company’ comes over to store mail and papers in, which end up scattered around my dining room table! It is now ‘part of the furniture’!

Thoroughly enjoying my beautifully well made basket, especially for my crocheting materials. It’s sturdy, roomy, and versatile. I have received lots of compliments from family and friends. Definitely looking forward to taking this on a picnic.

I bought this for my step dad's birthday to keep his special snacks, treats and things in next to his chair so they are handy for him to get. Loves it, he said it is made so well he could use it as a foot stool too. Everyone couldn't believe how sturdy of a basket it was and the beautiful real wood fine finish. It was the only one I could find that looked well made. I made a very good choice for him!

I ordered quite a few 'ungiftable' picnic baskets. This basket is worthy to be given for a special occasion or to use for your self and hand down. I had to make my own basket liner and I put in high quality items...plates, flatware, wine glasses ( all C&B) and so the final gift was awesome (ha, in my opinion).

This is the most beautiful picnic basket I have ever seen. That is due to the ☺️ combination of glossy sea grass and lovely finish and grain of the wooden lid. The wood also makes it sturdy and durable. You will want to get at least 2 . One for a picnic basket and one to work into your home decor. It is THAT gorgeous! I bought 4. Every bride i know will be wanting one this season. The lid is not attached but fits to the rim with notches in the wood. This is perfect because you’ll want to use it as a tray or serving platter. Only drawback is that it does not have a lining. I made one with matching napkins!

I received my item which was well packaged and arrived with no dmage to it. Upon opening the box I was impressed with actaully how large it is and excited about my new purcase as a sewing basket. I have been using a plastic Singer from the 1960's that was passed along thru the family along with numerous other plastic storage boxes. I highly recommend this for any storage uses. I had read all the reviews and as everyone knows there arealways some who find fault with anything but I still ordered it. I love the beautiful hard wood top that makes a beautiful accent in my sewing room the room I am going to line the inside with a nice fabric so as not to have items resting directly on the weave of the basket. Wonderful and highly recommend it.
