Just put it on her today and it's great. She has no issue with it being on and Im happy it'll let the birds know shes around as she is a calico and blends in really well

I bought the inner red breakaway collar with bell, and the colorful cover. They seem to be working, giving birds a chance to see our kitty, Willie. This was a good investment! We realized afterwards, the puzzle pieces pattern looks like the Autism Speaks insignia. The birds notice it!

These collars are well made and do really seem to make a difference. I just wish I could find them made closer to home so I would have to pay the extra shipping. My cat has lost one already with his releasable collar.

I was really confused why they didn’t ask what size collar I needed, and it’s because this is not a collar. It’s just literally a fabric tube. I just feel like for the price they’re charging. It could at least have come with a collar.

Works, however its wildly expensive for what it is. It's quite literally a piece of bright fabric sewn in half like a tube that you thread on to a collar. My cat is indoor outdoor and kills birds every. Single. Day. I put this on him coupled with a sperately purchased collar with a bell and I've watched birds get away. Three days, no birds caught so the product does work. He'll eventually lose it since he's a farm cat, that much is expected. Going to get a yard of bright fabric for the next one since someone is making a killing on roughly 50 cents worth of tubed fabric. You should get a five pack of these for the price they are asking.

It turns out that our cat is a serial killer and it was most upsetting to find his little victims almost daily on the doorstep, frequently without their heads, Godfather style. Since wearing the collar he hasn’t caught a single bird and as a bonus he looks hilarious. Recommend for your murderous beast.

I live near (and have volunteered at) a wildlife rescue. One of my cats is a savvy hunter and I was sick with guilt whenever she caught a bird 🐦. January of last year the intake person suggested I try a BirdsBeSafe collar available on Amazon. The minute I got home from dropping off the injured bird I ordered up a couple BirdsBeSafe collars and elastic safety collars to use with them. This was the best purchase ever! My cats haven’t caught any birds since I put those collars on! It was easy to set them up, the cats weren’t bothered either. It is good to wash the collars every so often to keep the collar colors bright. They work by making the cats more visible to the birds so they see the cat lurking! Their cat camouflage doesn’t work!

Our cat has long fur so you can't see the collar well when it is on her. Would probably work better for a short-haired cat.

I thought it came with an elastic band just so I could slip it over my cats head but you slide a cat collar inside the cloth but when you put it around your cats neck it fits just fine and you really can see them in the yard and my guy is quite the predator so he was outside and nothing and actually the birds were chirping up a storm since.he now is very easy to spot. So good buy.

We live in the country and have several nests on our property. Our cat is now 2 years old and has killed several birds this spring. We showed him the pictures that came with the collar and told him how cool those cats looked and how cool he would be with the collar. I think our other cat was jealous when we put it on him.I had to loosen his old break-away collar by about a quarter of an inch to make up for the fluff. He didn't seem to mind the new collar. I've asked the neighbors to ask their cats not to make fun of him.BUT the main thing is that our grass is long and has lots of dew in the mornings. When he comes in at lunchtime, the collar is wet. I recommend getting 2 collars, so you can switch them out so if there's a problem with one, like dampness, you can switch it out while you deal with the first one's issue. I've purchased a second, so I can swap them out if one gets wet in the mornings.

Didn't have it long but no birds dead when he had it on. Then 1 day off and a magpie in the house. He looks ridiculous but maybe it worked? He constantly loses collars so need a better stay on collar but with quick release.. hard to find the balance. Now going to cut his claws as my last resort...

Kitty is only outside for 1 to 3 hours daily, and had developed the habit of bringing home "gifts" that we assume he had killed. We bought this collar cover, which we cut in half b/c his tracker takes up half of his collar, and since he's been wearing it, he hasn't brought home birds or squirrels. A couple of lizards may not have escaped, but I don't think they are watching for his colorful collar cover. Also, it helps us to see him at further ranges. Between his white tracker cover and this collar cover with its reflective trim, we can more easily spot our dark grey kitty under bushes and at further distances. So, given that it seems to keep wildlife safer and help us find him more easily, we definitely appreciate this product.

Well, I don't see an easy release on case she gets her collar stuck somewhere. She absolutely doesn't like it. The birds do.
