This was listed at 81/2 inches so I took a chance it would fit a very old Bissell...And it did!!!!!

Ordered per website - to fit exactly the Bissel we have; and upon arrival, the brush sent not only didn't look like the one pictured - it didn't come close to fitting the sweeper. Returned per instruction on the website, and the seller charged a restocking fee equal to almost half the cost of the original product which was either shipped in error or never fit to begin with. No attempt on behalf, the seller, to re-ship the correct brush - just a "re-stocking fee" that was half the cost of the original. Draw your own conclusion...
