I think this is a great vacuum! I bought the less powerful 200 watt version. I think every stick vacuum manufactured from here on out should have the following two features that this vacuum has:1. The bright LED headlights2. The "crevice" tool built in.I'm vacuuming along and find a hair ball in the corner of the room, I LOVE being able to step on the foot peg, which removes the vacuum head and there is a crevice tool built into the end of the stick. Then afterwards, I pop the stick back into the vacuum head without even having to bend over. It's super convenient and takes two seconds! NO more carrying around a separate crevice tool!! This vacuum brings great ease and convenience to my small daily spot clean. It just feels engineered with attention on functionality and usability.I would warn you that if I bought this vacuum to be my primary vacuum cleaner in the house, I would be disappointed. We use a 7 year old Dyson V10 as our main vacuum. For this vacuum, I think the dust bin is too small and the vacuum isn't quite powerful enough to be the main vacuum. I was surprised to read that the manufacturer recommends cleaning carpets on the lowest suction setting for the best results. I'm curious is this is also the recommendation for the 280 watt version also. We bought this vacuum to be our quick spot mess cleaner and it absolutely excels in that role. I'm not sure I could find a better "quick spot cleaning" vacuum on the market for this price point. If my son threw this in the river today, I'd buy another one tomorrow and wouldn't look at any other brand. I think this is an incredibly well designed vacuum cleaner than many other manufacturers will use as a benchmark in this category/price point. Well worth the price.

This thing SUCKS- and I mean that as a compliment! My favorite feature are the LED lights, which will show you even the smallest of dust particles. The first time I used this vacuum cleaner, our cleaning lady had just cleaned the house. Well, so I thought. Using this Bissell vacuum cleaner I could see where she cleaned and where she didn’t, thanks to the LED lights. the Fur Guard had no problem at all sucking up everything to the smallest dust patches. It is fun to use with 3 different suction power levels and easy to clean. Our house has mainly hardwood floors and even the lowest suction power level is sufficient enough to get everything clean. Using the lowest power level also allows you to use the vacuum for a very long time (40min+) before it needs to be charged again. There is a 3 bar LED charging indicator and it takes about 2h to fully charge. My old Dyson handheld would only last about 7min to 10min on a full charge, so this is a whole new world of cordless vac for me. The vacuum comes with a floor cleaning size brush head tool and a smaller version for upholstery etc. Both work great in that they seem to not collect any hair around the brush roll. My Dyson constantly needed attention, since its brush tool would get clogged with long hair, etc. So again, The Bissell keeps impressing. It also shuts down the rotation brush motor if it senses too much resistance, which is great to prevent it from eating rugs and loose laundry like the long lost sock underneath the sofa. There is also a wand tool attachment with bristle adapter included in this set, which I haven’t even used yet. The only downside I have run into with this awesome machine is the big plastic knuckle at the bottom neck of the main wand, that allows for the vacuum to stand upright in its own. The knuckle adds quite a couple of inches to the height of the vacuum floorhead unit, which prevents it from reaching below furniture pieces and sofas that are lower than 5 inches off the ground. Other than that, there are no complains, only praise. I actually enjoy vacuuming the house now as this shore has become fun due to the LED lights showing exactlywhere you have cleaned already and where you still have something to suck up. All in all the Bissell Fur Guard is great value for the money and I give it two thumbs up!

I’ve been a longtime fan of Bissell, and this vacuum has easily become my new favorite! It charges quickly, which is a huge plus, and offers three suction modes to suit different cleaning needs. The vacuum glides smoothly across floors, carpets, and rugs, and the built-in headlights are extremely helpful in making sure no mess is left behind. It easily fits under couches and beds (even low rise Ikea furniture!) and can turn tight corners. Switching to handheld mode takes just one click, making it incredibly convenient for quick clean-ups. The weight is just right—not too heavy to hold, but still sturdy enough to feel powerful.TL;DRThis definitely got the job done and more, and I had fun doing it. Highly impressed!

what was I waiting for? For 8.5 years, and some more before, I would not let myself get a 2nd vacuum for stairs and the kitchen/area rugs on the main floor. We have 19 (!!) stairs and I hated vacuuming them because I had to hold a heavy head and the base (Ricar, fantastic for thick carpets but not for stairs). I finally justified it is ok to have 2 vacuums, and I am absolutely in love with this little beast. I am happy it is Bissell, I love the blue, I love how light it is comparing to my Ricar, I love the lights on the head as it shows sooo much more than a naked eye, I love how the handle is tall enough so even my 6' hubs can help me out. The canister is small but honestly, I'd rather empty it out a few times in a row than breathe the dander and the dust. It lasted to get 3 area rugs, the whole main floor (around 800sf) and still had some juice left. Today, I did the stairs with the furfinder and I couldn't be happier. Honestly, the best decision of 2025 so far.
