Plughz Bit-Wrap How To
When applying it is very important to pull hard as you are wrapping the bit, this will help with the fusing process and also keep the wrap smooth and even. No worries about pulling to hard this is a strong material and can with stand stretching up to three times its length.
NOTE: Once the wrap is adhere to itself you won’t be able to unwrap it.
Plughz Bit-Tape is a generous 2 inches wide.
This super stretch wrap is a latex free, heavy duty, non-toxic polymer. There is no adhesive to bind so no residue is left behind.
NOTE: Bit-Wrap should last many rides depending on how many layers and how well you applied it and which style bit you are using. If you see signs that wrap is loosening, remove and reapply.

Our mare has a very soft mouth, but she also plays with the bit alot. Pulling it back and biting on it...she's a bit fidgeter. This didn't hold up past one ride. It is good self fusing though...but there just isn't enough of it for the price. Only was able to wrap the bit twice with this. Maybe I put it on too thick? Tried to put it on thick enough to keep her from getting through it but thin enough to not make it too bulky. But even with her 5" double broken oval link snaffle (so not a lot to wrap), just not enough there for the money.

I had a horse with a sensitive mouth. This stuff was easy to use. Stays clean and horse really does well with it.

Bought this tape for my young horse who has a sensitive mouth. I love the way the tape on the bit made it so much softer for my horse and it definitely works, but I was constantly re-taping it because my horse would chew right through it. Honestly wish it was more durable!

I have been searching for a replacement for SealTex since it was discontinued so I was so excited to get my hands on this. Unfortunately, it fell flat for me. I like SealTex because it provides a bit of cushion in addition to being thick enough that you can't feel any bumps or ridges under it. The Plughz bit wrap has zero cushion and is thin so you can feel every bump and ridge. It also is slippery when moist. Add all of this to the fact that it's wildly expensive (SealTex was like $5-8/roll) and my package (ordered from the Plughz website but you can't put reviews on their website) came destroyed because they mail them in bubble mailers. All in all, I wish I hadn't wasted my $30 on this and I'm still looking for a SealTex replacement.

It collects saliva and food debris so you can’t keep it clean unless you retape.
