Great price. Particularly pleased with the ease of snipping strings. Went through a 100 gauge bass string like butter. A little disappointed that the string winder will only accommodate guitar tuners but not bass.

Excuse the cars quote. *Ahem*. I guess you're just what I needed.No, but this is perfect. smooth as oiled silk at turning pegs and makes that process simple. No longer will I dread restringing guitars because of the time-consuming peg turning. And the string cutter is perfect and I don't have to worry about slipping a pinky in there or something. I haven't had much use for the peg puller, but who knows when that will be useful down the road?

Such a helpful little tool. Makes string changing take 5 minutes, and saves you some hand pain as well. The string cutters arent top quality, but you’re buying this for the winding tool. Gives you a more even, professional looking string wind than if you slowly turn it by hand. A must have for guitarists!

This tool does what it was designed to do but with one small weakness. I'm afraid the peg puller will eventually break as it is made out of relatively thin plastic. It works but the teeth bend easily and if you get a stubborn peg, you are going to need something more heavy duty. I'll probably opt for a metal puller specifically for that purpose. As for winding strings and cutting them, this tool works well.

So I'm doing my review based on the 3 functions that this tool is capable of as well as the experience of using it with two guitars-- one electric and one acoustic (so, one might want to take it w/ a grain of salt). I bought this as an emergency tool to use when I don't have access to my dedicated winder and cutter.1.) String winder=> Does the job effectively enough, faster than by hand. It feels sorta cheap, but considering the price, it's still a good value.2.) String cutter=> This action feels kinda wonky-- having to open up the handles fairly wide (like 70% open) to slide the string b/t the cutting edges. Once you do though, it cuts cleanly and consistently.3.) Pin puller=> This action was performed w/o issue through all 6 strings for my acoustic.Overall, I like it enough that I'll use it until it's busted, but if I have a little more time, I'd prefer to use my other dedicated string cutter and winder.

5 Stars A++ RECOMMENDEDA must have item for guitarists! Makes a quick job out of swapping out strings, without damaging your instrument. The winder saves time and allows you to bring em all up to pitch little by little.
