I am using these thermistors for experiments / projects with my Arduino computers.The thermistor is encapsulated in a plastic material and has approximately 10' leads, more than enough for my applications but you may find that useful.I installed one of these outdoors to sense temperature in a junction box. So far it is functioning as one would expect. I would buy again.
