Black emery is a coarse based compound that provides surface cutting, primarily a pre-polish cutting compound to prep materials to be buffed out prior to a final mirror finish polish.
An emery based compound used in polishing by Jewelers, Metal Crafts, Casters for lapping, stropping and polishing.
Compound contains coarse grit to remove surface imperfections, scratches, on a wide range of metals, both Ferrous and Non-Ferrous and Precious metals: Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Iron Steel is also used for Wood.
Compound is used in lapping stropping application are used with leather, buffs and hard felt wheels.
