Mercedes installed a crossbar that was in the frame holes where the guard goes. Getting that out of the Sprinter was a serious pain. Five of the six bolts came out fine but that sixth? Unscrewing it fully was blocked by the radiator outflow, leaving us the choice of either removing the radiator, returning the grille guard or cutting the bolt. We opted to cut the bolt. With the right reciprocating saw blade, that went well but be careful of the hose clamp!Crossbar out of the way, the grill guard installed mostly really well. The cross-arms from the top of the bumper never lined up completely flush and while the guard is firmly in place with no wobble and it looks great, I'm not sure why it is that way. Also, why do they have three different bold head sizes? Would it be that hard to have them all the same size so we don't have to keep swapping ratchets?I did reach out to Black Horse by email and phone. After 9 days, they have not replied.
