The “pant style” in this item’s name refers to the pockets on the front of these chaps, which are similar in placement and style to those on a classic pair of jeans. The chaps were very well made. However, for myself, the sizing was off. They were too big.

I would have given these chaps a five star ratingexcept for one reason. Size. MY thighs measure 21-3/4". Chart says medium for 21". That's what I ordered. I wear 32-33"x34" jeans. Now let me say this; these are the first chaps I've ever ordered by size instead of trying them on. After cutting them to length & wearing them 2 times, I wish I had ordered a small as the belt seems big enough for a fat 44 incher! Other than that the quality seems good & a nice liner for warmth. Would I buy them again? Yep, but in a small.

Good relatively heavy leather and will break in good and well made so a good value. As far as fit, well...the only size guide is thigh size, and tells you to order a size up for a relaxed fit so I did = 27 inch thigh measurement so 28" = size 5xxl. Now I'm a 6' 4" 310 lb cattle rancher with muscular thighs and a 42" waist and the belt was HOLY CRAP size giant. The cut of the chaps is high-waisted like for a skinny guy and I wear my jeans low like most big riders. I've overlapped the rear adjustment holes to a single line of lace reinforced by rivets and cut 8" off the belt so far plus overlapping 2" on either end to rivet it on just to be able to buckle up on the last hole enough to stay up and I really need to cut another 4" off just to get the buckle holes to center up. If it wasn't the quality vs great price I would have just sent them back, so caveat emptor. As a rancher I just happen to have the sharp knife, leather punch and rivets on hand. Otherwise, if you're a size 55 - 60 inch waist guy you'll be happy!

The sizes are way off need to go at least two sizes smaller other than that great quality for the price

The design is better than my previous heavy chaps, which results in them being easier to put on and take off.

These are made for thin people. I wear 44x30, I tried ordering the biggest pair they had they extended a foot longer than my feet and the waist /still/ would not fit.These are dimensions for stick people.

I actually bought these for my husband right before we split. They fit him really well. I had to get a larger size than we thought but that was my fault. He rode his motorcycle in these and was comfortable. They were intended for Southern "winter riding" (we don't get snow). Would definitely recommend!

Nice leather well built only problem that I see could be wrong with them is the leather cover over the zipper faces forward making it possible for the air and water to get blowen underneath and go through the zipper should’ve been turned the other direction
