Easy To Use
Clean and dry surfaces before application for best results
Screw on applicator size nozzle and cut to desire bead size
Apply an even bead of silicone around perimeter of surface
Assemble parts once silicone has skinned. Skinning should take about 8-12 minutes. The silicone will dry in 1 hour and cure completely in 18-24 hours

I used this product more like a silicone caulk than a gasket maker. I needed some black silicone, I came across this product, the price was right, so I ordered it. It worked perfectly for my application...sealing seams on prefabbed metal structures that didn't quite line up tightly with hardware alone. This product made my project a breeze. The applicator tip provided a variety of options for bead size. The silicone was easy to apply and smoothing the beads was a breeze. I did notice that this product seemed less viscous than other silicone products I have used in the past, but after a couple practice beads I learned what to expect for flow rate. In the past, I have had issues with lots of air in tubes of these types of product from sellers on Amazon. That air makes running clean beads a nightmare. I am happy to report that this product didn't have any air in the tube so a clean application was much easier.

I sealed the flange where my RV heater exhaust comes through the sheet metal body. Material filled the space, not too messy, (use tape) and set up firm and well adhered. Heat doesn’t soften it or make it run.

I hope when I use it, it will self level. Not really using it as gasket material. That's why only 35. Nothing bad about the product. So just use it as intended and I bet it will be fine.
