Weighing under 2.5 lbs., this lightweight cordless stapler is very portable. Move between your craft room, garage, basement, studio, and anywhere in between to complete your projects free of a compressor, hose, and power cord. For added versatility, this stapler is compatible with staples (ranging from 1/4-in.-9/16-in. / 6mm-14mm) and 18-gauge brad nails (up to 9/16-in. / 14mm). To get you started on your projects, 800 (1/2 in. / 12mm) staples and 200 (5/8-in.) brad nails are included in the kit. When not in use, safely store the stapler with the power switch in the off position (locking the stapler) to prevent accidental misfiring.

What kind of staples are compatible. Not all staples would fit in to this staple gun. Having a hard time looking for one.

I used this to add trim to an old door, and it absolutely did the trick. I had to punch the nails in a bit more to be filled, but it did the trick. Very happy with it.

As an artist who is experiencing difficulties using his hands I was so happy to find a staple gun that didn’t require the hand strength I simply don’t have. They don’t tell you that it takes a second or two for the gun to fire so I was a bit disappointed at first. But once I figured it out I was so happy I bought it. The one thing I’m not happy with is the way it misfires. The Staple will often not gpt in completely, instead it has an indentation in the center, like whatever pushes it in is only hitting the center… wasting ALOT of staples and can’t find anywhere on the B&D website to ask why.

I love Black and Decker but SADLY this stapler didn’t work. I suspect someone previously returned it…it took only about 5 minutes to charge (green light) but then I couldn’t get the green light to come back on when depressing the contact trip, after loading staples. I own multiple cordless power tools…this isn’t operator error. It’s defective or broken. Now the hassle of returning. Frustrating. Ugh.
