I have this on both of my gooseneck trailers along with the Blaylock hitch locks. Gives me peace of mind knowing that it keeps my trailers secure. I won't say this makes it 100% theft proof as a determined thief could overcome this, but they will have to work harder and make a lot of noise to do so.

This attaches to the bolt that hold your goosneck coupler on, I have seen many locks on the connector itself, but with a crescent wrench I can drop the whole thing, Put mine in there and have your trailer in mere minutes. But with this lock, access to the bolts is blocked, Thereby denying a quick switch. This in conjunction with the hitch lock totally secures the trailer. Very easy to instal, ask yourself what your trailers worth, then secure it! I use my gooseneck commercially, without it I'm just a truck. I recommend this to anyone with a gooseneck trailer.

Really feel like my trailer is fully protected from a theft. They can't take off my coupler and add their own now! :)
