Purchased this grill and cart because I wanted a full stainless grill, boy the partial that will rust out in a few years around the stainless. I have had it assembled, covered with a Blaze cover (bought separately) and it is already rusting. Again, this is a stainless grill and stainless cart, and three weeks in it is rusting. Can't clean it off, permanently stained. In addition, the temp gage after grilling twice has developed condensation in the Guage. Three weeks, and this grill is already disappointing. I have just contacted customer service through Amazon, so we will see the response, and resolution. I can not in good conscience recommend this grill based on the immediate defects.

We are loving this BBQ yes it was spendy but it is worth it. Does a beautiful job. We also use the rotisserie and it was delicious we would buy this again but I don’t think we will need to, it is beefy and will last.

The grill itself (the grill head) is ok, not great. My low rating is because of the grill+cart design. There is a large opening across the back of the cart -- 5 1/2" high by the full width of the grill -- DIRECTLY BEHIND THE BURNERS. The first day I used it, light breezes/gusts blew out the burners, consistently! I thought I didn't assemble it correctly, but I did. I contacted Blaze service. (The service experience was marginal, they replied as though I had a built-in unit, not a cart, even though I sent pictures.) The initial replies were (1) there must be perfect airflow and all premium grills have this, and (2) just move your grill to where there isn't wind. I looked at other premium rated grills and the first three I checked did NOT have such opening (only vents). As for moving it, there just aren't many places you can put a grill that size in a patio area. I put it where I have had gas grills for 30 years. They later acknowledged that other grills don't have that opening and I just need to move mine. Blaze sells a large WIND GUARD made for the built-in model, so they KNOW this a problem. So here I am with an expensive grill that I can't use if there's a breeze. As for the grill performance when it does stay lit: The temperature is uneven across the grill surface which surprised me because the videos spend so much time on features that create an even cooking area. I first noticed it when I seasoned the cooking grates. The grates will darken as the oil cooks off and the hot/cool areas are easy to see. Very uneven. I then looked at Consumer Reports and they rated Blaze grills quite low on this. Also, it takes 35 minutes to heat to 500 degrees, with all burners on high. That’s a LOT of gas each time you cook.

This a fantastic lifetime purchase, great build quality throughout. I had natural gas run to my backyard so I would no longer need to go and get propane, so I needed a new grill. I first looked into converting my exsisting 20+ year old propane grill but figured I was better off with a new one. I am glad I did because this grill is fantastic and I will never have to replace burners, "flavorerizers bars", etc. again. While it doesn't have or include some features and accessories some other more expensive grills in this class do. It gets the basics right and can be expanded still, at lesser cost than the alternatives. Get this grill and you will never need another but you might want to upgrade to Blazes Pro model for the fun of it:)

I bought the Blaze BLZ-4LTE-NG grill in December 2018 with the following options: rotisserie burner, infrared sear burner, smoker box, and grill cover. After using the grill for over a year, I can tell you this grill is outstanding in all regards. It is made of high quality 304 stainless steel with a lifetime warranty on all substantial parts including even the flame tamers. It cooks evenly across the entire cooking grid and the back rotisserie burner puts out the proper temperature for cooking chickens, pork loin, etc. I highly recommend the optional sear burner (14,000 BTUs) for those steak lovers who like to grill thick steaks using indirect heat and the reverse sear method. In addition to manufacturing top line grills at a competitive price with outstanding quality and warranties, Blaze also has outstanding customer service. As mentioned above, I have owned my Blaze grill since December 2018. I have a separate electric SmokinTex slow smoker so had never used the Blaze grill for smoking. About a week ago, I was going to smoke a pork loin and discovered that the smoker box was for the professional model and did not fit my grill. Upon contacting Blaze, their customer service folks immediately offered to send me the correct smoker box for my grill at no cost. I wasn't even asked to send back the original shipped smoker box. This is outstanding customer service and, after more than a year of use, I can tell you that Blaze gas grills are a joy to cook on with even heat and no flare-ups. By the way, the infrared sear burner is to die for when cooking thick steaks by indirect heat and finishing at the end with the sear burner (known as the reverse sear method). Thanks again Blaze!
