Very bright. Strong magnets. Perfect for its application. Mounted on back of a John Deere Gator. I didn’t want to run wiring for another light so this was ideal being battery-operated.

I love these lights. I bought them for my 5th wheel trailer as I have been chasing an intermittent short with my rear running lights. If they go out I placed these on the rear bumper and can safely continue driving. Magnet is strong enough to stay put. Good emergency lights to have

Thank you for the prompt delivery and careful packaging of this excellent product. Assembly was straight forward if you have even the least amount of mechanical ability 😀. There was NO difficulty removing or replacing 4 four very standard #1 Phillips screws. If they are carefully and snuggly tightened there is no difficulty with stripping them. Pop in four AA batteries and press the yellow button on the back of the unit and you have brilliant temporary illumination for any vehicle that has a metal surface for which to stick the magnetic mounts. PS only remove the 4 screws ( 2 at each end ) to install batteries. There are 4 other screws two each on the longer sides of the unit. Do not remove these.

I had a set of these once before and left the batteries in too long. Definitely worth buying twice. The lights without the white flashlight feature DO NOT have strong magnets and not as many LED's. The flashlight feature has come in handy on more than one occasion. So if you wonder if they are worth the difference in price with the non-flashlight ones, I would say yes. I bought the others because they were less expensive and sent them back. The company is adamant these are not to be used as taillights. Okay, I get it. Liability issues. But I have a 1943 jeep that needs temporary assistance to be noticed better by other drivers when driving to and from events. These lights hang onto the body just great and function just for what I need them to do. I have a set of amber ones for the front as well.

I purchased two of these lights for a trailer. They arrived on time and well-packaged. The lighting itself is very nice -- clear, bright, strong. My issue is with the battery housing and magnet units. Firstly, it's very inconvenient to have to remove the magnet units just to install the batteries. Secondly, the screws that came with the device for the purpose of fastening the magnets to the battery housing are absolutely unacceptable. They're small and weak and don't grip well at all. I had to find screws of my own that would make a tighter grip. Mind you, if the screws don't hold, the magnets come loose, which means the battery housing comes loose, which means the lighting unit could fall off mid-travels. Finally, one of my two lights randomly turns on by itself, as if it gets a sudden power charge on its own malfunction. This could be problematic when I leave the light for the day as it could stay on continuously and run the batteries down to no power. I'm hoping I have decent luck with these lights as time goes on.

In order to insert the batteries, you have to take the magnets off the back. Unfortunately, a bad product design has a TINY nut somehwere, and if you are not REALLY careful, it will fall off and roll around inside the light. And you cannot re-install the nut. I attempted to retrieve the nut by unscrewing the circuitboard from the frame, and 2/4 plastic threads broke, making the whole thing unusable. Poor product design and cheap plastic. Better hope you never need to change the batteries.

I must admit these lights are very bright and actually very large in size. The only issue I have with these are how the batteries are installed. You have to have a small and pointy Phillips head screwdriver and remove the screw holding the magnets. Now that in and of itself wouldn't be bad, but the screw was in there so tight I couldn't budge it, I hadto resort to needle nose vise grips to get the screw out. But once the batteries were install, Wow.Not sorry that I purchased these lights as they will be perfect to provide a caution/warning indication when I'm towingor if I break down on the side of the road.
