This is a minimalist yet fashionable collar. I like the simplicity of it. A nice 2" wide leather collar for my Pyrenees mix. It was a bit stiff when we received it but has become pliable after some wear. His neck is ~22" and I got the XL that still has enough allowance if I need to adjust looser. Adjusting is easy. The color is a nice shade of cognac. As any leather product, it does scuff easy. So if your dog scratches their neck frequently, you'll notice some marks on the collar. It is stylish as well as functional. The brass hardware seems sturdy enough and goes nicely with the leather. My dog wears his collar primarily to have his dog tag on him at all times.

I love how this works. One thing I wish it had a buckle instead of pulling the leather through to tighten it. My dog has a lot of hair and by the tightening it is a chore. He tries to avoid it every time. I try hard to be gentle, and still I love the way it works.

We have had this collar on our 100 lb American bulldog mix for a few weeks now and we're very happy with the quality of the collar. Fits very well and appears to be comfortable to our dog.

My dog loves this collar... and I do too! Very good looking on a large dog. I'm sure the wide collar is more comfortable for him. Well worth the price.Additional comment: Recently he slipped out of his collar. We looked high and low but couldn't find it, so we ordered a replacement. A few days later after the snow melted we found it. I'm hoping Amazon will cancel the order for the replacement.

Great quality, nicely packaged. Thick but soft leather, very nicely stitched, high quality hardware. Maddie and I both give it five stars.Reason for the return is that it can’t be removed if the dogs bouncing around in an emergency. If it had a quick release clip, it would be perfect.

Unfortunately I have to leave a bad review for this collar. My dog broke through the brass d-ring and went after another dog. Luckily the guy that was walking his dog scared her away although I didn’t see signs of her trying to hurt the dog. She doesn’t like other dogs very much however. This resulted in a nice visit from animal control. Not sure if this is the sellers fault or she is just way too strong and can somehow break through metal. Either way, this shouldn’t be advertised for strong powerful animals with a lot of pull force. She was very traumatized from this experience, and the man was very mean to me and my dog. It was a very traumatizing experience for both of us.
