The connector is too long to go fully into any of the guitar pedals I own so a little bit of the metal is exposed, I've never encountered this before on any other cables.

I had built a an imitation PedalTrain pedal board for all my pedals. Some of these pedals were a little farther away from the pedal power supply than I would have preferred. These power cables were longer than the cables that came with my pedal power supply unit and allowed me to reach those last few pedals. Best of all, they just worked. No apparent issues at all

These are good little DC extension cables. They work find for guitar pedals, but also for whatever other DC devices you might need to use them with. The sellers page says they are “negative center” polarity, but extension cables, on their own, don’t have a polarity. They just “pass along” whatever polarity you plug into them. If you plug in a negative-center guitar power supply, it will pass along negative-center polarity. If you use this with some other positive-center power supply, it will pass along the postitive-center polarity. So, you can use these with any DC device that has a 2.1mm barrel jack connector. I particularly like that one end of these is at a right angle. 5 Stars.
