They work great! They are thick, so no freezer burn.

The video for this listing showed a pump, so I thought one came with it. No pump is included. The listing description does detail exactly what you will be getting, though. So, no foul there. The bags are thick and sturdy. They seal tightly. I have no complaints about the product. It is as described. I just need to find a vacuum pump to use with them. (I got them as a reusable vacuum sealed solution for storing dry food in. A vacuum sealed bag is less likely to encourage bacteria and pests.)I recommend this product. I have no complaints about it.

This is a comparison of three FoodSaver-like 1-quart storage (sous vide) bags: genuine FoodSaver (several years old), Ziploc sous vide bags (even older) and this product. I have used the first two products multiple times to store foods in my freezer (cooked beans, beef burgundy, hamburger patties) and they have both worked well. I used this product just one time so far. I have not/do not plan to use any of them for sous vide cooking. All three products are the same size and similar construction. They all work with the hand tool on my FoodSaver machine. They can be washed and used multiple times. This one was a little harder to vacuum seal, but maybe that was because it was new and my food had a liquid sauce. I cannot evaluate the re-usability of this product yet, but it seems to be of similar quality. It comes with replacement air valves, which I am sure I will lose before I need them.I cannot evaluate the safety of this product (or the others) since we all rely on the honesty of the manufacturer to really be BPA-free and not have significant migration of chemicals into the food stored within. However, on price alone, this one is outstanding. FoodSaver brand costs about $1.30 each. This brand is $14 for 15 bags, and some are gallon size. You can't get the Ziploc ones anymore, but I bought them at Walmart and they weren't very expensive. So give it a try!

Although these are promoted for sous vide cooking use we use them exclusively for food storage, both in the refrigerator as well as freezer compartments. The handheld, rechargeable vacuum sealer we have works great with these bags. Really like the double ‘zipper’ seal at the top which, when used with one of the provided closure clips, perfectly seals the bag. We love frozen grapes to snack on by the pool and these bags are great for that BUT you need to be careful when using these on soft items as the vacuum pressure can crush them. Same when freezing breads. They are indeed reusable but like other brands we have tried it all depends what you store in them. Most fruits, cooked meats, vegetables and so forth are easy to clean. Raw meats, pasta sauce, chili or any greasy foods are pretty much one use and done. These come with additional air sealing valves, something we’ve never seen with similar vacuum bags. So far we’ve never had to use them but it’s nice to know they are “repairable” if that valve goes bad. These seem more reasonably priced than others we have used in the past and also a bit thicker. Nice to get multiple bags in each of three sizes for use in the kitchen! Overall these are holding up well and are highly recommended based on our experiences so far.

I like the price but the bags are a bit tricky, looks easier than it works. A bit of a learning curve.

Almost these left one star.I believe you're really supposed to use these with a special vacuum that comes in two styles, a little electric one or a manual style. In this regard I wish it was listed as some sort of a refill kit. With a typical household vacuum and a nozzle sized the same as the circle on the bag it can take a minute of wrestling before the air finally starts to exit. Online videos I've watched with the right tools the process is almost instantaneous.I use these for backpacking and long term storage of items in addition to food. With regular bags you can get most all of the air out but in a few hours they'll equalize anyways. The ones similar to this at the store don't come in sizes this small and are much more expensive.Even those don't really do that great of a job holding the seal usually.Threw some clothes in a bag/bags tossed them around and came back a few days later and they were still sealed.Wished the seals did that yellow and blue make green thing to make sure you have proper closure.
