I recently bought a bunch of leotards and didn't check if it had a lining and that was a big mistake. This one is cotton and has a lining. You want to go up a size so for an average sized kid aged 10, size 12-14 would fit. After I washed and dried it, it fit very well so really depends on the size of the kid but my kid is on the average to slightly petite size.

Block makes this cotton leotard in sizes that fit tall girls. Capezio does not.

This is very narrow in the front and rear . Also a bit short in the torso. my daughter is short for her age. 11 years old 76 lbs and 4'7" and the size 14 was too small.
