Could never get this blower to work correctly. Swot h kept breaking, bought a separate switch and temperature sensor kept clicking on and off repeated even when fireplace had been on for hours.

This kit came with everything I needed to install the fan on my gas fireplace. The hardest part was making sure to order the correct fan that fit my specific fireplace. I found the model number on the metal instruction panel under the fireplace controls. The wiring was easy to connect along with some you tube videos just to be sure. The one note you'll want to know is that the fan won't turn on unless the temperature sensor is triggered with adequate heat. I tried to do a test run of the fan before installing it and thought that either my outlet or the fan didn't work. Once I heated up my fireplace with the sensor installed, it worked great.

Works great. Our fireplace did not have a blower when we bought it off an individual. We were told it had a blower but when we got it home and hooked it up, it didn't have one. It had gotten so hot that the paint had turned yellow from the heat. We did some research and found this one. It said it would fit out style firebox. It took some finagling but it fit. This little blower make a world of difference in how it heats our living room. We have been using it for about 4 weeks now. Plus this was a very affordable alternative to the manufacturer's option.
