Took a good few hours being methodical and careful from start to finish. The vid on youtube . . .just follow along. All went together well for my 2005 Liberty CRD and I didn't have to trim bumper in anyway.

Blue Ox installation was easy, came with clear instructions and all the parts needed. A few basic tools, Locktite red and a torque wrench, and we had this fully installed in under 4 hours, start to finish. Bonus that once installed, it looks like it was part of the Jeep Liberty design, blended nicly into the background...perhaps it helped that we have a black Liberty, so the base plate comes with black powder coat on it. Jeep color aside, the only thing you see are the tow bar adapter bracket points, tucked slightly behind the bumper, very unobtrusive when not in use, almost unnoticeable if you are not looking for them

Bought it for my 2006 Jeep Liberty Sport tow vehicle.Followed instructions and was able to do the job by myself in a few hours.I used jack stands to support it, while I lined up the screw holes etc.in the frame.As stated in the instructions, not all "same year" Jeeps are identical. Some of the cross bars are not in a position to drill extra holes.That said, I was still able to mount it where I feel it is and will be safe for towing.An excellent product.Highly recommend.

Bolted on exactly as described. Followed a video I found online, wasn't the exact year model so some of the video wasn't relevant and some wasn't included.There's a part about drilling out rivets on the front inner fenders but I didn't need to do that at all. Mine all came off in one piece.It's assumed you have a pretty decent level of technical skills to mount this plate but, if you order the correct bar it bolts right on. My video only showed them installing 4 bolts so on my 2005 Liberty I went ahead and drilled the two extra bolt holes to make it 6 total.I didn't have to cut anything other than the front license plate holder and only that for the electrical plug mounting.I've also purchased and installed the wiring harness with bulbs and a 7 x 4 wire adapter connection cable.Mounting this all on a Jeep is probably the easiest way to go, Jeeps are pretty easy to get the front end off of.
