I watched the video and was able to install myself..it was easy and fun. I love the way the base look on my car. I'm glad I was able to installed the base myself, because I was getting quote very high. I saved alot of money.

Blue Ox builds a fabulous product. We have owned two of their hitches over 20 years and they work well and last forever. Unfortunately, we had to return this third one after finding out that car we were going to buy to use with the new hitch became unavailable. And as promised, there was no problems with returning this unit.

Have had Blue OX Base Plates on a Jeep Liberty, Chevy HHR, and now on a Ford CMax. Have had great service from the first two, so expect the same with this one. Am a little disappointed on the appearance of this hitch. Hitch sticks out further than the other units I have owned. I assume it is due to the car design. Very tight space to get it into, but it is all visible on the CMax. If Ineeded another (hope i don't) it will be a blue ox.
