This is an exact replacement of my previous power cord, which got damaged through some unfortunate use. I don’t take that as a sign of weakness of this product. It should be fine. It connects perfectly with my motorhome and with my towed car. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the cord is rather stiff at first. I know from the other one that it will eventually loosen up a bit, but not much. Don’t expect to be able to stretch this to fit. I also bought some Velcro ties to secure this to the tow bar so that the previous accident won’t happen again. Overall, this is well made and I’m happy with the purchase, with just a few small quibbles.

We have had our Blue Ox since 2010 and the cord finally disintegrated to pieces. So we were glad when we could find a replacement on Amazon!Works perfect!

Unfortunately, I had to replace my cord as the original became started brittle & the insulation was cracking. I will store it in a tub when not in use to protect it.
