For Our Customers FAQ:

HZ-8394 is designed with a long hose, when open the gas valve, it takes some seconds for the fuel gas to fill the burner tube, customers are recommended to open the gas valve to the medium to ignite, after successfully igniting, then you can freely adjust the gas valve lower to any desire flame.

If the user frequently ignite and extinguish the flame during work, sometimes the ignition cannot starting fire, this is NOT a mechanical problem, the real reason is that the inflammable exhaust gas from previous burning is still stay inside the burner tube, to solve this problem, just turn to gas valve to the maximum for few seconds, let the fuel gas fill the burner tube and push the exhaust gas out, then try to ignite again.

In cold weather operations, to prevent the fuel gas freeze causing unsuccessful ignition, users are recommended to shake the gas cylinder several times before screw on the torch to start fire.

When the tip assembly heats up it becomes loose on the handle and falls off constantly. After a few uses the igniter stopped working.Crap.

Barrel of torch nozzle slips over two "O" rings for what appears to be a compression/sealing fit against the handle assembly. This fit is not snug enough to hold the barrel in position when working in tight places. The slightest bump at the end if the torch will cause the barrel to turn and then you have to twist the handle to a new position to direct the flame. I was constantly having to change handle position to compensate for the barrel twisting in order to direct flame where I needed it. I sent back and got refund and will go back to the Benzomatic torch I had previously.

It worked great...for the first three times I lit it. Then the igniter stopped working and I had to return it. Hope you have better luck. It was very handy while it lasted.

What I like about this product is because it can be turn the knock torch too small or too big and it easy to take with me to go camping during deer hunting season.

Works great. So far have used about 5bottles of MAP Pro with no problems. Lights every time, consistent flame, nice and lightweight. I much prefer this separate torch style than torch on canister for the work I do. Being at weird angles and rarely standing at a work surface this pays off. The only thing lackluster is the wire canister holder, it works. But could easily be better. Falls off sometimes.

Decided to up grade when I lost my 30 year old sparker to light torch. Wow what a difference, had to do 20+ solders to love my water lines. This unit worked flawlessly and made working so much faster and easier. Belt hook was very convenient. My friend helping me want one for himself as well.

This gets into tight spaces and you can control the heat with this unit. I find it worth the extra $ over the other "on top of the bottle" units available.
